" We should have made the decision together", a female witch cried out staring at the lonely silhouette of Scott who had his back facing her with an hospital blood bag in his hand.
She had brown hair as well as cobalt blue eyes, her face looked worrisome as though she had been worried the entire time.
" Why should I give an explanation to you Genevieve, we both know you have always been soft on creatures, witches to be specific. The punishments you would have given the five of them won't be as worse as mine", Scott said as he brought the bag to his mouth and devoured the entire liquid inside.
" Besides, this will be a lesson to every other creature who chose to disobey my orders. Look at what Rose did Genny, she put the lives of other witches in danger and two of them as we speak are still lying in the Manor's hospital, I can't overlook this and welcome Rose back with open arms. For every disobedience there must be a punishment", Scott said as he threw the blood bag into the trash can in his study.
Walking away from the window, he walked past Genevieve who was still in deep thinking after listening to all that he said. He headed over to his seat ready to relax himself and remove the heavy burden on his chest when someone pushed the door open with force jerking Scott in the process.
A skinny man with big brown eyes stared back at Scott panting. " Scott, sorry for the inconveniences... there is a problem in the common room, Frank and Douglas are fighting", Silas the skinny man said in deep pants.
Scott and Genevieve immediately ran out of the study room. Scott was the first to reach the common room in his vampire speed while Genevieve used a flying spell to quicken her steps on the flight of stairs, she was the current leader of the witch coven so the powers of her ancestors resided in her making her much stronger.
A deep roar welcomed them as soon as they got to the foot of the stairs causing the both of them to freeze in their haste, the alpha had commanded the fighting wolves to stop.
Frank and Douglas are werewolves in the Haven who are termed never to see eye to eye. They argue about everything and tend to fight sometimes but the fight seemed to have been pretty serious this time as they didn't take it outside but did it in the common room.
The large room was turned upside down as only the werewolf clan remained while some strong headed creatures stayed to watch the fight.
Currently, a man who looked in his thirties stood in the middle of the room demanding respect while two young men stood in his left and right side, their finger nails now in claws ready to tear the other apart.
Nicholas, the alpha of the wolves stared angrily at the two wolves under his care who had gone and committed a huge sin, fighting in the common room where all creatures gathered.
No witch had the right to stop the fight as it was between the same species and so was it for the other creatures who stood there staring at blonde haired Frank and black haired Douglas.
" Nik please bring Frank and Doug to the wolf dungeon, everyone proceed with your usual doings", Scott said loudly as Nicholas signalled for Frank and Douglas to follow him and Scott as they made their way through the halls and down another old looking set of stairs, Genevieve followed behind so as to learn what had caused the fight.
Once they were in the large and dark wolf dungeon,a dungeon made specifically for werewolves. Nicholas ordered the two to get into different cells as Scott stared at them with his dark brown eyes which held nothing but calmness.
Douglas, held the bars gritting his teeth in disapproval whilst staring at Nicholas and Scott. His claws had gone back in, returning as normal fingers but Frank still had his own out and ready to claw out Douglas's heart.
" I don't deserve to be thrown in here Scott, if there is anyone at fault its all Frank, he came at me", Douglas said nearly growling as he stared at the wolf in the next cell who was glaring at him as though he had a death wish.
Nicholas ran his hands through his raven black hair. He was at a dinner date with his wife at the place he considered his most sacred spot when Scott's assistant Silas quickly informed him that Douglas and Frank were at each other's throat again.
He wasn't ready to deal with this, he knew Douglas was never completely innocent and Frank had not yet put down his claws even after the growl he had given them both.
" What happened Frank?", Scott said in a calm voice but blonde haired Frank made no attempt to turn away from Douglas as he lifted one of his claws and pointed at the man, his eyes filled with fury.
" He proclaimed Josette's death, he said awful things about Josie, he, he dared talk about my female as if she were some asset", Frank said softly before turning to glare at Scott and then at Nicholas.
" Get me out of here Nik, I want to tear him apart", he growled holding the bars of the cell and Nicholas put his hand in his head in frustration.
Douglas snickered before he started laughing out loud and only stopping when Nicholas glared at him. " Your female", he said in a mocking tone causing Frank to bang his claws on the cell bars warning Douglas.
" Your relationship with the little witch just came out today. I'm sure Scott knew about it but said nothing, tell me why you decided to keep your relationship with the little witch a secret or should I be the one to answer", Douglas asked erupting in another fit of laughter.
" Her name is Josie, Doug, and mind your business Doug", Scott said in a tired voice. He knew long ago about Frank and Josette's secret relationship but kept quiet waiting for the time they would come out on their own.
" Yeah, mind your business, Dog", Frank said in a sarcastic smile, his claws retracting back and returning as fingers. Douglas frowned when he realized the twist added to his name and the smug smile on Frank's face made him less happy. He always felt joy pissing Frank off.
" Let me handle the matter Scott, I believe you have better places to be in", Nicholas offered, his black eyes staring calmly at Scott and Genevieve who seemed to be so interested in observing the two werewolves.
Frank glared at her telling her to stop with the stares already. Genevieve frowned, a werewolf and a witch, a wrong combination, werewolves have untamed anger, them witches were calmer in comparison.
She would have to speak to Josette, she won't let her break a rule made by their ancestors to have nothing to do with the wolves. She had just wanted to listen but she was glad she came.
" I should go check on Josie and Alice, Excuse me", Genny said removing her eyes from Frank and turning to stare at Scott. " Let me come with you", he suggested as they both walked out of the old staircase together while Nicholas turned and glared at the two wolves behind him.
" You are spending your night down here, I hope you enjoy each other's company and no more fights, else, I won't hesitate to tear you both apart myself", he growled the last part out as he walked away from there thinking of how he was supposed to make it up to his wife.
He smiled when he remembered how beautiful she always smiled and smiled more when he thought of how cute she was when trying to be very angry, he didn't even realize that he was out of the dungeon until the noise of the people residing in the safe haven reached his ears and he looked up.
