Six Years Later
"Why is the whole place quiet?" A lady in her early twenties walked in and sat on one of the bar stools in the bar section of the luxurious restaurant. She was wearing blue Jean and white shirt.
"As usual, he rented out the whole place for the evening," another lady responded. She was dressed up in her waitress uniform - a purple dress with a white apron, giving off a professional and polished look. The dress had a modest knee-length hem and a simple yet stylish design. She held a golden tray with tea cups in her hand walking towards one of the tables.
"I don't even need to ask who you are talking about. I already know the person that does that," the first girl said as she removed the sling bag that was hanged around her, just moments before.
"How could a person be so wealthy? The man is filthy rich!" The one in uniform exclaimed.
"How long is it going to take this time?"
"I do not know. But it could last the whole day."
"Well, the good thing is that we are sure to have a huge tip today," she grinned.
"Just go in and change into your uniform before the manager walks in. You are already late."
The A-plus restaurant was a spot hidden away just for rich folks looking for a l fancy night out. There were fancy lights and classy tables with all the nice stuff on them. The seats were comfy, and there was a soft music playing. In addition to the two waitresses that had a conversation earlier, there were many others already in the kitchen getting ready for the night. They knew the night was going to be mind blowing as usual. It was always that way when their VVIP guest rents the whole place.
The menu was like a food adventure, made by top-notch chefs using really special ingredients. This was the go-to place for rich people who want to enjoy all the fancy vibes and delicious.
The evening air crackled with an air of affluence as sleek, chauffeur-driven cars glided to a stop in front of the restaurant's entrance, and elegantly dressed men emerged. Confident strides carried them into the restaurant where the manager greeted them with a little bow.
"Welcome, we have the menu ready. Will you like to start with the courses for the night?" The manager inquired, politely.
The three men shook their heads almost the same time.
"Just get us drinks," Jeff, one of the three men replied.
The manager bowed and left knowing fully well that the men might not eat the entire meal that was ordered the day before. They always did that. They ordered for a feast but end up taking only drinks and leaving the place. It wasn't like the restaurant was complaining. They get paid for the food and shared the food amongst the staff and even outsiders.
The men were just here to get a breath of fresh air and may discuss business.
"So Phil, should I call Betty and Lizzy over?" Jeff turned to Phil.
"That wouldn't be a bad idea. Ben, you are still in your celibacy phase right?" Phil asked Ben, who was just relaxing and watching his two friends.
Ben shrugged at the two men, "You guys should enjoy yourselves."
"Man, are you sure you are not impotent?" Jeff joked, but changed the topic immediately when Ben gave him a look. "Maybe we should reschedule with Betty and Lizzy, let's just have a guy's night out."
"Yea Yea, let's do that," Phil agreed with his friend. Ben was the wealthiest amongst the three men and the two men definitely didn't want to get on his bad side.
Ben just rolled his eyes at them.
They knew he hadn't been interested in dating for the longest time.
"What entices you both about women so much?" Ben didn't seem to get their obsession about women.
Jeff and Phil let out a belly laugh. "You can't be serious, are you?" Phil finally asked.
"Exploring the depths of desire with different women is my way of savoring life's diverse flavors. I find ecstasy in the unique allure of every woman, a journey of passion that never loses its thrill," Jeff reminisced. Jeff had always being a skirt-chaser.
"Woah man! Calm down," Phil laughed at the vivid description Jeff gave.
"Oh man! You sure you are not a little virgin boy?" Jeff teased. Another thing about Jeff was that he didn't know when to stop. He always went overboard with his jokes without even realizing. Phil helped him out this time.
"Our drinks are here!" He announced and picked up a glass, which a waiter filled with their expensive wine.
The three men sipped their beverage in silence. Ben scrolled through his phone but couldn't get Jeff's question of his mind. He always wondered how he became friends with Phil and Jeff, especially Jeff. They were known to be very social. Ben knew the answer to that question. They three of them were the top affluent and hottest bachelor in Sahel town. They met through a business meeting and eventually became partners. Any woman would do anything to have them. The men knew this, except for Ben of course. Sometimes, he wanted to be as carefree as his friends but things always ended up being awkward.
"Hello," Phil said into his phone.
"Yes, this is Jeff Brit"
"Yes, we did"
"Oh my goodness. Thank you very much. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for this."
"Yesssssss!!!!! We got it!!!" Phil announced.
The other guys didn't need to guess what Phil was talking about. They had all being expecting this call. It was a deal they had all been waiting for.
"Yay!" Jeff sprang up and did a funny dance. The waiters and waitresses all chuckled quietly at this. They knew they were supposed to be professional but sometimes this particular man was very amusing.
"Drink on the house!" Phil announced. "Oh wait, we are the only ones here."
Ben chuckled at his two friends. He had a pleasant smile on his face. He was happy to see Phil and Jeff so excited. They had put their all into this and deserved all the joy. This was a foreign partnership. They were going international and will only get wealthier.
"Where's the manager?" Jeff called.
The manger scurried up to where the men were seated. Jeff beamed at him and said loudly, "Get us a list of all your staff. They all deserve a gracious tip."
The worker hollered at this. They couldn't hide their elation at the declaration.
