Crunching branches could be heard as a woman, who looked as if to be in her early twenties, walked slowly but steadily through a windy, almost storm guaranteed forest.
' My lord, how cold it is! ' Sobrina thought, missing the warmth of her bed and the smell of the fireplace.
Her father had kicked her out of the house earlier that day, mind you it was for the dumbest of all reasons there could be. she had went to the market and bought the most simplest of clothing there, but it seems as though someone thought otherwise! Her no - good stepsister thought it would be most pleasant to tell her father of her actions that day and Sobrina ended up here, starving was she not.
After she had walked for what seemed to be the whole day, it was finally midnight, the hour of the moon as they called it. Sobrina had enough and found a quiet but habitable area to sleep for the rest of the night. She had no trust for the forest at all , though , what could she do now? It was already this late after all. Just before she could close her eyes to rest, something had caught her attention.
A few kilometres away from her was a fine young man, who had black, lengthy hair and eyes that were as expensive as rubies. Sobrina was starstruck, she had never seen a man this , enchanting , yes , enchanting.
The man could not see her as she was behind a tree, making sure her presence could not be detected. Had she not eaten for hours, this was surely eye candy and she was perfectly fine with just that.
A group of men could be seen approaching the man, they were all soldiers and showed great respect to the charmer. It was evident that this man was of high status, you could smell his riches and nobility from miles away.
' My, who is this? ' Sobrina thought whilst grinning. ' He is of course of high power, look at how respectful they are! ' At this point she was basically burning the man with her eyes, staring into the pores of his skin.
Unsurprisingly, the man turned to face the woman whose face was half seen behind the tree. A startled Sobrina quickly turned back, her face as red as ever, immediately fanning herself to calm herself down.
' Was I caught? Was I seen? Will thou be alright? ' Sobrina's head began filling with all these questions, she had no idea what to do and running was obviously NOT a good option.
She fanned herself for about a minute before she could calm down , just by 0.1% i'd say , just because her face was still as red as a tomato. Then , suddenly something flashed before her eyes, she was most definitely surprised, but really, that was not the real surprise there.
The charming man was now standing in front of the woman staring down at her in confusion , at this time allowing her to really get a good glimpse of himself. Sobrina quickly covered her mouth as she was hit with this scene so suddenly, though shall I say, her face definitely burnt , like alot. She was a red neon lamp to be exact.
