As run shun on the lands, a powerful voice appeared and could be heard in every corner of the stone structure "Wake up you worthless little shits! WAKE UP!"
As Haruto awakened, the voice faded, he realised that the old man was nowhere to be seen either, Haruto calmly walked over to each of his parents and sister and woke them up gently.
The voice re-appeared as soon as the others were awake. " My name is Ayuma Arata, I am this village's chief and you have been restricted to here for the next 2 weeks, food will be sent to you, there are 2 restrooms on the left of you, learn the history, learn about this world and I will see you in 2 weeks, don't disappoint me, this is your first lesson."
The group inside didn't even complain as they knew they needed to learn and had no knowledge of the world or what it has to offer them. Rather than learning in the outside dangerous world, inside was much better for them and benefited them much more so they complied. Each of them stacked up books on the tables set around the library and began their studies.
Haruto would not even sleep putting all his effort into studying whatever he possibly could. The family seemed incredibly intrigued by what they read, only a few days in and they all began doing weird stances as if to accomplish something of some sort.
2weeks went by within days, the time had come for Ayuma Arta to check what his disciples had learned, as the little group of men and women walked out, they gazed out into the sky, "Fresh air, its been so long"
"Okay Haruto, since your first to speak I will test you first."
"The rest of you go get some fresh air, I will test you right after I'm done here"
Yua, Yui and Akira walked away and disappeared into thin air as Haruto began his test.
"Fine by me sir, I have learned a lot." Smiled Haruto
Whilst grinning Ayuma replied, "We will see then, I hope you can show me what you got."
"Now kid, go tell me all you know about mana!"
"Huh, easy old man. Mana can be stored by cultivating and increasing your mana pool. The more you grow your mana pool, the stronger your mana gets whilst the abundant also grows. As mana pool grows, the colour begins to change indicating the level at which your mana is at, slowly getting more purer and purer until white."
"Well I expected this much, go on get more into detail boy! Or is this all you learnt?!"
"Fine fine each mana stage has 3 stages, lower, middle and higher then proceeding to the next stage, mana can be used on fists at the black stage, mana can be injected into weapons at red but must hold contact with the user, mana can be injected into objects you don't have to touch such as throwing daggers by orange, you can also slice 10 ft tall men in half with a single swing of your sword, by blue mana can be used to strengthen the body and crush through a house with eas, by Cyan it has been said you can use your mana to fly as high as the sky. Lastly, by White, the furthest recorded so far, you can destroy mountains and lift cliffs with your mana alone. Even though it all seems unimaginable, I will see it for myself."
"Good, at least you learnt something, now what about the Empires? Speak."
"Well, not too much about them, there are 2 empires or well 1 is called a dynasty and there is also 1 kingdom off East of us. The Empire we are in right now, the Empire of Fria is run by the Fria family, the Imperial family, they have fought the Cyrus dynasty who are right under us for generations, both allied and invaded the Calid Kingdom after discovering them, the Calid Kingdom had lived in peace and gained unimaginable strength and had been spying on the other 2 powers near them not interfering with them. After the Calid Kingdom repelled Fria and Cyrus, they began rebuilding as they had been destroyed."
"Wow, you seemed to have learnt a lot these few days! Good, I will give you a gift, I see great potential in you, here... Eat this pill."
"What on Earth are you feeding me old man?!"
The old man grabbed Haruto, stuffed the pill in his mouth and gave him a book on cultivation, "Go into the back of the library, there is a training ground, improve your Mana and power go you will need it to survive here."
With that Haruto with disgust on his face walked away, the old man called the others and 1 buy 1 judged them each, he concluded that they had all learned enough and that their real training would begin the 2days later, he gave each one of them a book to practice cultivation from whilst they rested.
