The Generals led them out of the hall and into another tower in the palace; this hall is larger than the previous one, but the decorations are inferior to the previous one.
"Whoa!" The players were taken aback and yelled. The weapons in here were more than they could have imagined, truly deserving of the title "arsenal."
Jaden was shocked as well, but he didn't show it; he simply nodded his head in approval of the weapons here.
"I'm General Xavier, this is General Jake, and this is General Blake, we are all generals of different divisions, I am the general for martial arts, General Jake is the general for magic, and General Blake is the general for weapons." General Xavier introduces himself and his fellow general.
The players nodded, waiting for the words to choose their weapons. General Blake moved forward to address the players, his hands behind his back.
"You guys will plan the strategy; if anyone has a good strategy, that person should speak up." Unlike General Xavier, General Blake was cold and spoke less. His gaze moved brightly and brilliantly from one player to the next, and when his gaze met Jaden's, he stopped and focused on him.
Jaden, on the other hand, was unconcerned; all he wanted was to kill, raise his level, and return to see how Lilith was doing.
However, Jaden's perspective informed him that he was being watched, and he moved his eyes to see the cold general staring at him.
He was unafraid and locked his gaze on the cold general as well.
General Blake approached Jaden and seized him with his eyes, much like an inspector searching passengers to see if they had any hard drugs on them.
"You are the only adventurer with the magical warrior class, and you have reached level 9. What is your name?"
"Mayhem!" Jaden decided to change his name because he knew one thing for certain: all of the players here are plotting to kill him so that they can take his wealth for themselves. However, anyone with a sophisticated mind would realize that he was lying. because both words hold the same meaning.
When the players heard his name, they wondered aloud,
"Who is Mayhem?"
"I've never heard of that name; perhaps he's not in the top ten"
..
"What a strange name?"
General Blake walked to the front of the players with a cold smile on his face.
"Because there is no one, we will use our standard battle strategy, the WMP formation. W stands for Warrior, whether magical warrior, knight, ranger, or Warriors, M stands for Mage, and P stands for Priest and Alchemist "General Blake walked them through the battle formations.
"You may now proceed to select your weapons; however, because we are running out of time. You guys have to be fast. No player may take more than one weapon, okay? You are free to proceed."
The players rushed to pick new weapons before General Blake could finish his speech.
"Get your hand off that sword, I saw it first."
"Fuck off, I took it first"
...
"Finally, I have a copper grade spear in my arsenal, and I can't wait to taste it on some motherf*ckers."
.....
While the others argued, Jaden examined each weapon and considered which weapon he should use.
Jaden walked to a secluded area where no one had ever dreamed of going; this location was secluded.
The wall was smooth and colored, and the weapons were hung on tiny devices.
'I need to pick a long-range weapon, and a quick one at that,' Jaden decided, before moving to one of the arrows.
[Copper grade] [Wind arrow]
[This weapon has a long range, a strong affinity for wind elements, and a weak affinity for water and earth elements. When equipped, agility improves by ten points and strength improves by five points.
Maximum number of arrows shot at once: 3.]
'It's not perfect, I don't even have wind magic,' she says. Jaden sighed, moved his gaze to another arrow, and yet another description appeared.
[Bull's horn arrow] [Copper grade]
[This weapon can penetrate walls and a few other hard objects, it can be used with earth elements, and it can defend against all other elements except lightning. When equipped, Strength +10, Agility +5, Maximum arrows shot at once: 4]
Jaden was tempted to choose this weapon, but he quickly changed his mind when he saw the other arrows. This arrow was black in color.
[Phoenix arrow] [Copper grade]
[This weapon is fast, with proper aim, it can kill anyone below level 20 in just two shots, it can be used with fire and air magic, just like a phoenix, the air can't stop its speed when equipped;
Agility +25, Strength +20, Maximum arrows shot at once: 4]
"Yes, this is what I'm talking about; with four shots, I can take out two enemies below level 20, which will suffice for the time being until I encounter stronger opponents."
Jaden quickly picked up the arrow and joined the other players in the hall, who snorted when they saw his weapon.
Out of 200 players, over 80% chose swords, 15% daggers, 4.5 percent spears, and only Jaden chose arrows, which they thought was strange.
'What a wise lad, he knew the right weapon for the right task, how brilliant, I think I should train him as my student for a month,' General Blake thought to himself as he nodded.
"Greetings, general, we have some bad news for you right now." A black soldier dashed into the Hall and informed the generals.
"What is it, please speak quickly?"
"Our soldier sent to keep the rebellious clan at bay has been defeated, and the rebellious clan is matching us down here with victorious stride!"
"OK, you can go," General Blake said, dismissing the guard and turning to face the players.
"It's time to go toe-to-toe with the rebellious clans, everyone," he said.
neigh, neigh, neigh...
Doom! Doom!
Huh, huh, huh, huhuh, huhuh, huhuh
The sound of war was getting closer.
