Emmy looked at his little boy Nathan and answered
"I will never hit you ever again "said Emmy as she kissed Nathan's forehead"Really mommy? Promise??"
"Of course I promise" said Emmy while smiling at little Nathan
"I love you mommy"
"I love you too my little angel?" Said Emmy while patting the boys head
Then suddenly Steven entered the room with a bowl soup with rice and put it near the bed
" It's still hot you can wait for it to cool it down a bit" said Steven eyeing the boy in Emmy's lap
"Nathan come I will tell Allen to carry you don't bother mommy" said Steven as he extended his hands to pick Nathan
"It's okay let him be "said Emmy while patting Nathan's head
"Ooooh. Okay "
"Are you heading out?"
Yuh yeah I'm going hunting"
"Ooooh take care then " said Emmy leaving Steven the dumb folded
"Uhhh? I mean okay I will get going then" said Steven and left the room
"Are you hungry??"Emmy asked Nathan
"N...no" said Nathan eyeing the food
Emmy chuckle and and pat the boys head
" It's okay we can eat together"
"Really mommy?"
"Yeah" said Emmy and pulled the bowl of soup and rice and started feeding the little boy while eating
After the meal Emmy carried Nathan outside the house and found Allen outside returning home with a bucket of water
The bucket was so heavy to the boy so she put Nathan down and carried the bucket to the kitchen and came back with a new bucket
When Allen saw the bucket he stretch his small hands to take the bucket but Emmy refused to give it and said
"Let's go together I will help you fetch water"
" Uuuh? it's not so far I can do it sister-in-law "
" No it's too heavy for you I will help and don't argue just lead the way "
" Okay I will go with you "
Then Emmy carried Nathan and headed to the river with Allen on the way Emmy saw yam leaves and dug out a yam
"Sister in law those are not edible" said Allen
"Of course they are edible I will show you how it's cooked"
"Really? You know how to cook"
"Yes so don't worry"said Emmy as she kept digging yams and Carried them to the river
When they arrived Emmy put the yams down and walked towards the river scoop water in the basket and walked home carrying Nathan on his back while carrying the bucket while Allen was carrying the yams
When they reached Emmy put Nathan down and headed in the kitchen with the bucket of water and started fire and started cooking she made yam soup with rice she found in the kitchen and left them to cook in low heat and helped Nathan bath while Allen refused and went to bath alone
Later on she helped Nathan wearing clothes and dining table and scoop the soup for Nathan and Allen to eat and served it on the table Allen ate while she help feeding Nathan then suddenly the door open and Steven entered while carrying two bunnies finding them eating
"You... cooked??"😲 Asked Steven while staring at Emmy who was feeding Nathan
"Yeah go wash your hand and I will go get the food" said Emmy and went to the kitchen
Steven was so stuned
'im not dreaming right????' thought Steven while standing
" Allen is your sister-in-law fine ??"
"Yes brother she even helped carrying a bucket of water from the river " said Allen as she kept eating
" Ooh okay" said Steven as he went to the kitchen and put down the bunnies and washed her hands and looked at Emmy who was scooping food into the bowls
"They smell good "said Steven
"What are those?" Asked Steven
"It's yam soup it's good you should try it "said Emmy while smiling
" Ooooh okay let me help you carry them "said Steven as he helped carry the bowls to the table and sat and started eating the food was so tasty
"Allen do you want some more??"
"Uum yes can I?"
" Of course let me get you some more" said Emmy and pulled the bowl and went to the kitchen
After a while she returned with the bowl and gave it to Allen and sat near Nathan and continued feeding him
