Unknown to our protagonist, she wasn't dead. Well not specifically because indeed, she did die, but she found herself lying on a bed, dressed in a beautiful and long and goofy white gown. Hovering over her, was a brown-haired girl, who, listen well, she might not like.
Now our question is what does the universe, or better yet, God has planned for her.
__________
Okay, something wasn't right, I was hearing voices or maybe it was just one voice. Well, I could only guess that if I wasn't dead then I was in a hospital and miraculously alive and with no broken bones since I could move. But there was only one way to find out.
I was about to will myself awake, when suddenly, something touched me, violently shaking me. You can only guess what happened next, let's see the equation: a cranky girl who died hating being woken up and who took kickboxing classes = punching the first person her eyes set upon. Yes, I just invented the word. So the result of my equation did in fact happen, since opening my eyes, I saw some girl hovering over me.
I wasn't going to pretend to be sorry, she shouldn't have woken me up in the first place AND might I add like that.
Massaging my temples completely ignoring the bitch, I looked at my surrounding trying to pinpoint where in the smurfs I was because I could tell, no matter how much my mind was groggy, this room didn't look like a hospital room, nor was I dressed in a hospital gown, more like a ball gown.
Okay, I was even more confused and scared. Was I in heaven? If so, then I punched an angel? Holy nutsy! Did that mean I sinned in heaven?
Just thinking of the first possibility, I started to sweat. There was a thin chance I would be sent back down instead.
'Oh my God.', I gasped before thinking of the second more realistic possibility: I got kidnapped.
'Nope, not this time.', I refused, shaking my head, deciding to hunt for some answers. As I quickly got up from the king-size bed I was on also ignoring the whining girl in front of me, I frantically looked for something to defend myself.
'Eureka!', I mentally cheered when I finally found an interesting weapon. There was a baseball bat just next to the bed.
Once I held it tight in my hands, I turned to the girl. ยซ Okay, listen here bitch, I don't know who you are or what you think you are doing but I want some answers and you're gonna give them to me. ยป I say, more like demand, with my bat proudly raised and ready to swing her head to oblivion the instant she tried something funny.
Maybe, I punched her too hard or she didn't understand English because she stopped whining and looked at me like I asked to kiss her feet.
ยซ Anastasia? What are you talking about? Are you okay? ยป she says confusing me because I had no idea who this Anastasia was. Maybe we weren't alone and she had the ability to see spirits.
'Or she smoked weed.'
ยซ Bitch, did you smoke? ยป, I ask, with narrowed eyes and head tilted to the side. Seeing as she didn't answer but kept staring at my beautiful face I kept firing my questions.
ยซ Anyways, who sent you to kidnap me? Who's your boss? Hey, wait what-.. back off. BACK THE FUCK OFF! ยป
I scream when I see her coming towards me, and immediately she stops.
Not caring anymore and making the promise of getting out of here, I sprinted to the door which was to my surprise but luck, unlocked. Running out of the room, I ignored the calls coming from the bitch, or maybe she was calling the spirit Anastasia?
I couldn't care less, she could have that spirit but she or her group- they couldn't have me, not again.
So I was running through the halls of what was probably the only castle I've ever been in. I was following some noise, it sounded like claps, and didn't even stop when saw some stairs and let me tell you, I should have an Oscar or the Grammys because I looked and felt like a professional running in those high heels.
'Ha! In your face Kardashians.', I cheered as I rushed down the carpeted stairs while carefully looking at my steps so I didn't end up killing myself while saving myself.
I could smell the exit, I could feel the victory of escaping my kidnappers and would have probably been able to tell if it tasted salty or sweet, if only I didn't collide with a wall. It must be some magic trick because I didn't know stairs had walls in the middle of them, they must be alien-stairs.
I ended up stumbling back and almost got to feel my spine break for the second time when a strong pair of arms wrapped around my waist.
And it was somehow like in those romantic movies, that my eyes locked with a pair of a beautiful mix of blue-green eyes.
'I'll be damned.'
