On the other hand, before Zinnia got Rey's brother phone, her real body was examining the state of the small room in her house. The foam mattress was directly on the floor without a couch. A small wooden table was also beside the mattress. A four-door plastic cupboard stood near the exit of the room. Rey, who realized that he was in a strange place, wiped his own face.
'Exchanged again?' Rey asked himself. Then he looked at the mirror beside him. A mirror was about 30x50 centimeters and it was attached to the bedroom wall. He found the face of the girl he had met two days ago, the girl he exchanged souls with. The girl wore a tank top and hot pants as her sleeping costume. Maybe because of the hot weather there. While the room was without air conditioning like his room.
'How could it happen again?' Rey asked again as he swallowed hard at his reflection. Just then, Zinnia's smartphone rang. Rey took the phone and looked at the number calling. Not his number but his younger brother.
"Hello," Rey said flatly.
"Hello. You. What are you doing? Why can we swap again?" asked a familiar voice in Rey's ear, his own voice.
"I should be the one who asking that," Rey replied still in Zinnia's flat voice.
"Geez. You're still on my place, right?" Zinnia asked, sounds panicked.
"Hmm."
"Just don't go anywhere! Don't do anything weird either! And... and..." Zinnia sounded hesitant to continue her sentence.
"And what?"
"Emmm. Don't take a shower! Anyway, don't go to the restroom!" Zinnia's orders sounded forcefully.
"Why are you so pushy? Could it be that you've already...."
"Anyway, I don't!" said Zinnia, cutting off Rey's sentence.
"So if I need to pee, I wet my bed, something like that?" Rey asked on purpose.
"Euh. Emmm. Ah! That sucks! Why do we have to switch again anyway?" Zinnia cursed to no one.
A knocking sound came from the outside.
"Brother? Haven't you got the phone yet?" asked Rey's younger brother from the outside of the room.
"Just a moment," Zinnia gasped. Afraid that Rey's brother would hear their conversation.
"Just don't mess around!" Zinnia ordered in a whisper.
"Whatever."
"You must! If you dare to do it, watch out!" threatened Zinnia which was only returned by a cynical smile from Rey elsewhere.
"Well. What's your brother's name? He was suspicious of me," said Zinnia.
"Charles."
"Okay. Brother Charles? Alright. Remember! Just don't mess around!" threatened Zinnia again then immediately hung up the call. She opened the door and returned the phone to its owner.
"Th-this is yours Brother Charles. Thank you," said Zinnia with a smile.
"You are weird. Are you okay?" Charles asked as he took his phone back.
"Eh? I am okay. Why?" Zinnia asked.
"Usually you just call me Charles. Why are there all 'brother' frills now?" asked Charles by looking at his brother strangely.
"Ah. Sorry. Charles, huh? Emmm. I was just trying to use the word 'brother' in calling yur name. But it actually sounds weird, doesn't it? Well, I'll remove it," Zinnia replied, grinning. Actually she felt awkward his name. Because Charles looks older than her.
"It's up to you. The important thing is that you have to take a shower and change clothes. Mom and Dad will go home at nine," Charles informed him.
"Where are they be?" And Zinnia stupidly asked. Charles looked at him with a strange look again.
"Oh. Sorry. I'll take a shower right away. Bye," said Zinnia quickly as she closed the door.
'Stupid. Why even rush to ask?' Zinnia cursed herself.
After blaming her own stupidity, Zinnia realized something important. "Why didn't I ask for the password for Rey's phone, huh?"
Charles, who was outside Rey's room, immediately opened his smartphone history and saw the new number that his brother had just called. Then the question arouse, why did his older brother call that number with his phone?
In a small rented house, Rey was still sitting on the small bed. He was still reluctant to move even though he knew he was not in his own room. He was still confused. Feeling uncomfortable that his soul was trapped in the body of a girl he had just met. It's not hypocritical if he feels a little attracted to the girl, curious of course. He still a normal man at all.
Even though he had been warned in such a way, he still could not resist the sudden call of nature. His male soul began to wonder. Rey knew he could not do that. It was Zinnia's right to forbid him. After all, the two of them were just strangers who unfortunately exchanged their souls.
Rey then walked out of the room to the bathroom. He did not want to disobey Zinnia's request, even though his curiosity was quite high. He endured all the discomfort and threw away his dirty thoughts. After all, he was an honorable man. He could not lower his pride even in front of Zinnia.
"No decent food?" Rey muttered as he glanced at Zinnia's fridge. There were only five chicken eggs, a box of chocolate-flavored milk powder, half pack of bread, cabbage, tomatoes, four chicken sausages, and two apples and oranges.
Rey then took Zinnia's phone and dialed his brother number. He remembered that he always locked his cell phone. That was why, Zinnia could not possibly use it.
"Hello? Who is this?" Hearing that it was Charles who picked up the call, Rey immediately hung up the phone.
"Damn it. It was Charles," Rey muttered, staring at the smartphone screen which had a wallpaper on it. Rey smiled faintly at the wallpaper. It was Zinnia's photo, she looks cheerful, it was different from his own smartphone which was in dark colored images and themes. Rey then dialed his own number. When it was connected, he immediately hung up the call. To get rid of his tracks, Rey deletes the history on Zinnia's phone.
Rey returned to his main purpose, had a breakfast. Reluctantly he made fried eggs and baked two slices of bread along with all the sausages in pan. There are not many cooking utensils in Zinnia's place, unlike his place. Just about to eat his breakfast, Rey froed to see something was walking fast on the floor. With a quick movement, he immediately ran into the room by carrying a sandwich and a glass of milk. He closed the door. His face turned into pale as if he had just seen a ghost.
"Why are there cockroaches?" Rey gasped still catching his breath.
