"Thank you." Malia said blushing as Hayden grabbed the bowl and handed it to her.
"No problem. So what have you been doing with Addi?" he asked.
"We were studying as you know, and after that, we started cooking." she replied trying not to look at him because she was blushing.
"Nice, and now we're preparing the food together." he added winking at her.
"Okay so you blushed." Tyler said, sitting on Addison's bed while she was looking at her computer for homework research.
"What?" Addison asked, distracted to the computer.
"I said you blushed." he answered as he pulled her chair that his friend was sitting in, near him.
"When?" she asked and started to blush again.
"When I kissed you and now." he replied smiling, looking at her red cheeks.
"Really?" she asked surprised.
"Yes. Why are you blushing?" he answered with a question back, smirking.
"I don't know." she replied before she kissed his cheek back paying for the one he gave her.
"You payed back?" he asked surprised and this time he was the one who blushed.
"Yeah, and now you're the one blushing." she replied. They stood a little like that until a knock came in the door.
"Yes?" she said as she moved fast to the computer.
"Dinner is ready, come downstairs." Hayden ordered and went in seeing his sister doing research and Tyler sitting on her bed while checking books so he thought nothing happened and went downstairs to sit in the table that he made with Malia.
Addison and Tyler finally went downstairs and sat on the table. They started talking a little, joking around having a fun teen dinner like always as they all are very friendly. After they ate dinner, all four helped with something, this time Addison and Tyler cleaned the dishes while Malia and Hayden cleaned the table and then, they sat down to watch a movie.
After the movie, Hayden walked Malia home with Addison and Tyler as well and they came back home with their mother. Tyler decided to sleepover because he got a call from his parents that told him they both were on a night shift at the hospital so he would have to stay home alone and instead he decided to stay at Addison's.
After some hours, the three teens were alone in the living room, because the twins' parents had fallen asleep. They were kinda bored, so they decided to video call their friends and have some fun. They actually didn't mind that the time was late, it was midnight, and they started the call.
"How did dinner go by the way?" Theo asked smirking.
"Dinner? What are you talking about?" Dylan asked confused.
"Yeah dinner. Hayds invited Mali for dinner at his house and so did Addi invite Ty." the green eyed guy replied smirking.
"Wow Hayds, didn't expect that gentlemenish thing. And oh for Addi we know her preetty well." the brown eyed guy replied chuckling.
"Yeah, you know me and you better get used to that." Addison said pointing at her brother.
"Fine." Hayden replied sighing.
"Don't forget that I'm here. I know you are protective over her and I respect that, but you know me pretty well and you know I would never do something that could hurt her or any of you because I love you all and you're my family." Tyler replied, Addison was melting by his words, which the friends noticed.
"Addi.." Malia interrupted that moment because if she didn't, her friend would melt completely in Tyler's words.
"What?" she asked with fully attention to the friends.
"Nothing." her friend replied.
"Anyways, that was inspiring from Tyler, I love that energy." Elijah interrupted.
"Yeah, but this thing we need to remember.. We're not just some best friends or a group of friends. We're a family and we need to keep that in mind no matter the situation we are in, we all are like siblings, sometimes parents, sometimes grandparents, sometimes just some kids to each other. We fight, we argue, we get mad at each other, don't talk for some days, don't need to talk about problems and we get that. Sometimes we need privacy all on ourselves, sometimes we need to be alone. But remember we do everything for each other and to save each other's lives." Theo said this making all of the friends shut up and listen to him carefully while he was talking.
"Yeah, definitely what you said. We're a family and always will be." Addison replied when everyone else was amazed by the words of her friend.
"Woah, you gave some great positivity vibes to all. That's what we are for, aren't we?" Tyler said as he threw his arm around Addison's shoulder.
"Yeah, exactly." Ember replied.
"By the way, where's Lauren?" Hayden asked.
"She's sleeping, had a tiring day today." Leo replied.
"Ah, she should rest." Addison replied as she looked on her phone when a notification came on, "Oh my God." she said shocked while everyone looked at her curious.
"What is it?" Dylan asked.
"Tomorrow night is the full moon." Addison replied still looking at her phone.
"Oh no, we have to plan something." Tyler said sighing.
"What about the full moon?" someone asked, the sound approaching to the three teens.
"Dad!?" Hayden said shocked giving his friends a look to not say anything.
"What about the full moon?" Noah asked.
"Nothing, it's movie night with the friends over and we haven't planned anything yet." Addison said when her heart skipped a beat.
"But your heart skipped a beat." Noah said making everyone widen their eyes.
"What?" Hayden asked even tho he knew what his father meant.
"Her heart skipped a beat, which means she's lying." Noah replied, "Look you cannot lie to me." he said in a polite way.
"But how do you know about it?" Addison asked surprised before her dad flashed his eyes red, "What? Dad?.. What?" she was shocked.
"I know about everything sweetheart, I know about you all too. And let me tell you all the story." Noah said and continued, "When I was young I got bit by an alpha, I didn't believe in things like this so I thought it would heal and nothing would happen, until it immediately healed leaving no marks in my stomach. It was the night of a full moon and I started feeling weird, I turned into a werewolf and I wasn't able to control my shifts. I didn't have a pack so I was an omega, until I found your mom." he finished.
"You're beta now?" Theo asked confused.
"No, I'm an alpha now. When I met my wife she was an alpha and I joined her pack, then I fell in love with her and we became mates forever. And after some years we got married and I gained more power and became an alpha like my wife. Then these two were born, but they're different kinds of werewolves, they're much stronger than us." the man continued.
"Which werewolf type is the strongest? You mentioned Alpha, Beta and Omega." Ember asked curious.
"From these three, Alpha is the strongest one and the one who can bite you. And when they bite you, you either turn into a werewolf or die, but Betas and Omegas cannot do this, that's why the leader of the pack is always an Alpha." he answered.
"So what kind of werewolf are they?" Leo asked.
"Do you have a pack?" Dylan asked too.
"Have you bit someone?" Tyler asked as well.
"I'll explain everything. So when Addi and Hayds were born they were also with powers but they were born with them so it makes them special than us who were bitten by someone. My wife's father is a blue eyed alpha which is more stronger than a normal alpha or a combined one, it owns a lot more powers than normal alphas do. And about the pack, yes I do have a pack, you will be shocked to hear but as you already know the story now, I feel like you should know this too. I'm taking one of you guys as example so it can be shortly told. Theo's uncle David is in my pack, I had to bite him because he was injured to death and I had to save his life. About biting someone, yes I have bitten plenty of people to save them from death. So when you bite a person that is about to die, they come back to life is they're strong enough to bear it. And you cannot kill a werewolf simply by shooting at it with a gun, arrow or knife because we heal in moment. There's a liquid called wolfsbane, and a bullet called the silver bullet, or an Argent bullet and those can kill a werewolf. Also who knows about werewolves, they know how to stop or trap them, there's a thing that looks like coal dust and it's called mountain ash. Alphas, betas or omegas cannot pass it because it makes a barrier stopping you from going through it, but a real Alpha can pass it or even hold it, and so can the blue eyed alpha. Alright, enough for now, goodnight." the man said while he was getting up to walk to his room to go to sleep when Addison held his arm.
"Dad, tomorrow night is the full moon and we still cannot control our shifts with Hayds and and Tyty. So that you know, can you and mom try to help us somehow?" Addison asked as she started crying.
"We will try our best sweetheart, don't cry." he said and hugged his daughter.
"I don't know what to do with it, I'm tired of it and scared to hurt people especially the ones I love. I'm scared to hurt you and mom after you said that we are stronger than you, I'm scared to hurt my friends." she said still crying.
"Maybe you're weaker than your parents right now because you're new to this." Theo said trying to stop his best friend from crying.
"Exactly, thank you for reminding Theo." the man said when Theo smiled at him. "We have it easier to help you control your shift as soon as you are weaker because once you get stronger there's nothing stopping you. But you won't hurt innocent people, you'll just have it easier to protect all of us and yourselves from danger." he said while everyone looked at him surprised.
"What do you mean by danger?" Leo asked.
"There are not only werewolves in the supernatural world. There are evils like kanimas, nogitsunes, wendigos, hellhounds, hunters who want to kill us, especially Argents." he said before Addison interrupted him.
"Argents? You mean like Allison, my friend and Chris, her father also my history teacher?" she asked when Noah shot his eyes wide.
"Chris is your history teacher and Allison your friend?" he asked.
"Yes dad, I know them and they know me." Addison replied sighing.
"Sometimes being friends with everyone isn't a good idea I guess then.." Theo said feeling bad.
"Theo stop, she already feels bad if you don't see so don't make it worse." Malia interrupted.
"Sorry." Theo said, "About that you said true alphas can pass the mountain ash. Can you pass it?" he asked.
"Yes I can, and so can my wife and your uncle David." the man replied.
"Are my parents werewolves?" Leo asked scared.
"Yes, they both are true alphas too, but they were bitten so you all are not werewolves. Theo, Leo, girls, your parents are werewolves, Tyler yours are too since you were born with powers but you're a red eyes alpha too, we'll work on your powers and you'll soon become a true alpha like your parents, Malia you are born with powers too, you're a blue eyed beta, you took it from your mother but your mother is an alpha, your dad was human like the other boys and girls. Elijah and Dylan's parents are not werewolves." he answered.
"Wow, my parents are true alphas. We want to be supernatural too so we can protect people." Theo said surprised.
"I'm afraid we cannot do that without your parents' permission." he added.
"And not all of us want to be supernatural, me and Elijah want to stay human because we own a lot more intelligence than any of you and that's our power." Dylan said before Ember interrupted.
"I want stay human too, I'm like them." Ember said pointing at Dylan and Elijah.
"Oh my God!" Tyler said scared making everyone look at him.
"What?" Leo asked as she looked behind, "Oh my God! No!" he said scared too when she saw a werewolf behind Theo on camera.
"Don't worry, I'm used to this." Lauren said making them look at her eyes wide opened.
"How?" Malia asked confused.
"My parents had to save me so they had to bite me and I am a beta." Lauren said.
"Woah, my sister is a werewolf." Leo chuckled.
"Not funny." Hayden replied to Leo's comment.
"Yeah." Leo said awkwardly.
"But no one should know about this or the supernatural world, no one. If someone will know or knows, might not be from anyone of you. Because any little word slipping out of your mouths can get all of us killed by the hunters, so from now on you all have to be very careful with your words, you the supernatural and you the humans too because you're now friends with us. Promise not to tell anyone." the man said while he waited for the teens to talk.
"We promise sir, not to talk about anything and 'we don't know about anything' on day time and at school, but we know around us here." Leo replied and everyone else promised to not talk.
"Guys go sleep now. It's one in the morning, you held me here as I told you a whole story of this." the man said as he got up waiting for the kids to say goodnight to their friends and stop the video call while pointing at the hall telling them to go to bed.
"I'm not sleeping alone." Addison said as the boys looked at her. "I'll sleep in the middle of you two if you don't mind." she said knowing that either of the boys would say no.
"Okay." Hayden said while they went to his room and Addison laid in the middle with Tyler in her left and Hayden in her right.
They slept until morning, when they heard their mother calling them to wake up.
"Rise and shine. Addi? What are you doing here?" the woman asked surprised.
"Well, last night we decided to have a fun video call with friends even that it was late but it turned to be scary. Dad woke up hearing me talk about the full moon tonight and he had to tell us everything and now we know about your pack and us." Addison replied and her mother was surprised.
"About what exactly did he tell you?" she asked eyes wide opened.
"About your alpha pack, how he became one, about us owning the same powers with grandpa being the blue eyed alphas who are stronger than any supernatural creature, mountain ash, silver bullet or Argent bullet and the Argents, kanima, wendigo, nogitsunes, hellhounds.. then about Theo's uncle David, his parents, Malia's mom, Malia's powers, Lauren being a beta.. pretty much that's all." Addison replied when Hayden and Tyler nodded in response and their mother was shocked.
"Wow, so you know the whole story." she said shocked.
"Yes and dad told me that you and him will help us take our shifts under control when Theo reminded him that we are weaker now so you'll have to teach us sooner before we do anything bad which relieved me to know that you'll be able to teach us, I was scared." Addison said before her mother hugged her.
"You all will be okay, trust me. And you'll be powerful to protect us all." she replied and smiled at the kids, "Now get downstairs, breakfast is ready and don't be late for school or I'll write you all detention." she said making the kids laugh and they went downstairs to eat breakfast.
