She had knocked, waiting patiently but no one answered. It was as she padded down the hallway she first heard the weird sounds. She recognized it as whispers. Words. People were talking. In hushes and mild laughs. Amelia had followed the sounds then, hoping to find Master Caden so she could tell him dinner was set. She had trudged the hallway innocently.
