THE MEN STARE AT ME LIKE I'M GOING TO FAINT. I suppose I may, considering the information I just heard. My mind is a whirl and tumble of wrath, contemplating the different endless possibilities of what this new information brings to the table. It might be a good thing we now know where the Apex is but it doesn't help that the location of all their manic, infamous and diabolical activities is the very home of mine.

I just can't believe they'd been right under our nose all along. Caden is right. It does make sense. The Ferals had chosen to move their operation to Los Padres of all places. There were a million marshes and deserted areas in California they could've moved to. I had always wondered why Hiram chose the forest where I had once ruled as Luna.
