THE AIR IN THE ROOM CHARGES. It charges at my words, charges at the lit eyes that follow. It charges on all of us. Caden leans reclined on the sofa, sitting casually beside me.
"Well then, Dr. Crane. What kind of celebration do you have in mind?"
His voice comes out as a husky playfulness—tinged by an upturn of his pink lips. It is deeper, scratchier and devilish. As his voice echoes out, I inhale the scent of Summer rains and Autumn dew. Deeply. It swarms to me from my left.
Ryan...
The young man slides his hand over my thigh. Since I'm in tight black pants, it rests safely on the tender material.
"Yes, Dr. Crane..." Ryan breathes in my ear. "What do you have in mind?"
My breathing thins at their words...and it's not even 'heat season' yet. The men already make me hot. It makes me wonder what'll do when that time of raging lupine libido comes.
