The messages were aplenty, almost all of them addressed to the mysterious Mr. K. The emails also showed nothing. No subject. Just cryptic conversation between the two parties: Colonel Fraser Colby and Mr. K.
They had made enough conversation to show they'd been in contact with each other for over a year. Quite a lot of time to even call them penpals.
Another thing was Ren was also right. The Colonel was dirty—in all terms of the word.
Casselba didn't need to go far in skimming their phone conversations to know that Colonel Fraser had his hands deep in every corrupt vice thinkable, amongst others. Bribery, money laundering, bias against immigrants. Infact, Casselba had to actually pull her eyes from the message to stop from smashing it against the island.
