BEFORE LEAVING THEO'S HOUSE that morning, I had my hair put up into braids. Just twin braids. I'd done it down to match with my schoolgirl outfit. And of course, Caden had stared when he'd seen it. It was part of the reason why we had nearly forgotten ourselves few moments ago. I can still feel my skin pebbled in all the places his hand had roamed to. All the bad, bad places. I have to shake my head to clear my thoughts as we all file towards the black Escalade. I'm guessing Ren went home with another car because Silver Belle is still in the same position she'd been when we arrived earlier. And I smile at my distorted reflection over the onyx-dipped vehicle.
