HEATED GAZES fire between the two men in the Office; the Hallow males. Their angry eyes echo brown depths of the shared family eyes. They look so familiar to Casselba as she stands silently watching them.
Her skirt once ridden up in passion now rests smooth across her thighs, a seductive black satin. Ryan's eyes are particularly glassy. She doesn't blame him. His father had just given him massive blue balls.
His eyes are stone-cold, his jaw is rigid and his eyes look like they might spit fire. Caden on the other hand is angry for an entirely different reason.
The normal reason should be because he caught his son between his professor's spread legs, but no. Caden is furious because his son got to her first. The cunning fellow, he muses.
He almost smiles then. Ryan took after him so well.
"What are you doing here?" Ryan growls.
The evidence of his arousal still shows impressively on his crotch. His eyes light on his father who just stands still with solid indifference.
Caden turns and carefully closes the door behind him. He holds the knob until the hears the lock click in place. Casselba turns to Ryan and her eyes mirror the question in his.
Why was Caden locking them in?
As he moves across to the comfy swivels in front of the Office desk, Casselba takes a definite stance, her back rigid. Looking at the two tall striking men before her was no good for her already hot body right now. Caden stops beside his son.
"I'm here for the same reason you are."
He then looks to Casselba.
"Hello! Dr. Crane, I'm Caden Hallow, Ryan's father. Although I think we're already past introductions."
Casselba doesn't reply. She takes in his black suit which even seems sexier up close. His body filled out the dress impressively and the silver cufflinks on his wrists showed his impeccable taste.
Casselba at that moment was feeling a rush of things dark and unholy. Bad things.
The longer the men remained in her office, the longer she had to battle her heat.
After a few more silent minutes with only the ticking wall clock sounding in the room, Ryan finally looks away from his father. He roughly drags out a seat in front of the desk and sits on it. Caden follows a moment later.
Then their eyes fully focus on Casselba.
She feels Ryan's warm chocolate eyes take her in, moving like fire on her. He is bold, his stare one of open need. Caden's eyes are of a deeper brown as they devour her in slow torturing pools. His gaze is overpowering, hot and fierce, with a depth of darkness hidden in it.
The two men glue her with their eyes, openly showing her they want her in the most sinful ways. The sexual tension in the office becomes to much and Casselba quickly takes her seat, right in front of both men.
They make no effort to look away; not even a glance at the expensive piece on the adjacent wall. In their shimmery eyes, she sees all their want and desire, their energy and lust. In her mind, she feels their thoughts, daring her to open the doors to them. To seal their bond.
Caden is the first to break the spell. His drugging gaze pulls away from Casselba and that is when she concludes that Caden Hallow was in fact the man at the Inferno. He was the Masked Voyeur. He had watched her have sex with Clarence.
As she remembers the mystery of his masked face that day, she feels warmth all over. She had had personal encounters with this two strong men in front of her differently; Caden at the Inferno, and Ryan in her Office. Surprisingly, it did not tamper with her feelings for either of them.
Caden puts his hand into his suit jacket and pulls out a folded piece of paper. Casselba watches as he slides it across the brown table surface to her.
From the corner of his eyes, Caden spots Ryan's jaw flex. He knew his son desperately wanted to scream at him, but Ryan held back. He was trained that way. Ryan never spilled his emotions out in the open.
He knew they had more important matters the discuss, like their obsession for the beautiful woman before them, so he put a lid on his fury. But Caden was sure that they would have a long talk as soon as they got home; not as father and son but as two men who knew clearly what they felt for the same woman.
Casselba brushes the folded paper with her fingertips, slowly lifting it to her face. She frowns at it, not able to read it's contents clearly. One deficit of her human eyes.
"Ryan, please. Get my glasses," she says.
The young man immediately looks down at the floor. He finds the round-rimmed spectacles forlorn on the floors along with scattered manuscripts displaced during their earlier sultry tango. He picks it up and a sweeping pink crawls up his cheeks as he hands it over to Casselba.
"Thank you," she says.
Her gray eyes are warm on him and he finds the pink sweeping faster. Casselba smiles. 'White chocolate' was a mystery. He could be dark and bold when he wanted her—as manifested earlier, but he could be also pretty charming.
She puts on the glasses and Caden shifts in his seat. This version of Casselba before him made him mad with hunger. He loved both shades of her.
He loved when she was the amber-eyed temptress with lush brown skin, but he would be lying if he said seeing her in her pretty brilliant element didn't want to make him take right there on the desk, in front of his son.
'Dr. Casselba Crane' was a shade of her he wanted to explore and devour. Her genius mind, her gorgeous intelligent demeanor, the swirl of hidden darkness behind her stormy eyes. Everything about the Professor was sexy. Casselba was an ingenious beauty with a sexual air about her that showed even when she made no effort at all.
Casselba turns increasingly uncomfortable as she reads across the paper in her hands. Her uneasiness is because the contents of the letter are frankly speaking—an invite to a darker shade of herself.
The paper in her hands was the main script of a contract drafted by the brooding hunk before her. The words written were beautiful but the facts were still facts. Caden did not want to hurt his son so he found a way to make the both of them get what they want.
...Her.
That is if she agreed. The contract strictly stipulated that everything they would do would be because she wanted it. His proposal was bizarre. They had not known each other for long but the psychic connection between them made it possible for Casselba to feel their thoughts.
Caden's calm personality, his casual sexy way of doing things made her want to say yes and sign the contract. Sure, she wanted both Caden and Ryan but the contract said she could only have them differently. At different times; not together in the same room.
But deep in her mind, Casselba knew that wasn't what she wanted. She wanted them both, together with her.
She abruptly closes the manuscript.
"I can't do this. We haven't even made a proper conversation with each other. I want to know the both of you, apart from our mind link. I want to know you physically."
She slides it back across the table, slipping it to Ryan. He quickly skims it over. When his eyes land on the last part, fully seeing the intention of his father, his eyes light in fury. He lifts his head up and with burning hazel eyes, he looks to both Caden and Casselba.
"No way in hell am I signing this!" he growls.
The paper crumbles in his hands and his fist closes around it. He abruptly stands to this feet and walks out the door. The contract falls to the floor as he exits the office.
Caden gives Casselba a small smile and hurries out after his son. The room is silent once more and Casselba turns to the mural on the wall. She was being given a choice...
One of both men.
