REN CURTIS IS THE FIRST to lift up his gaze to mine. Dark eyes that line up in respect, showing the kind of courtesy that I'm trying to make him waive.
As it seems, he would remain forever formal. But I guess every Manor has its chamberlain. Just like THE BATMAN, Ren is more of an Alfred. Though he's black and Japanese. He wears a suit like always but as of the moment, he has a large black sweater draping over the jacket. The winter must've gotten to him too.
Beyond the cardigan, nothing else is informal.
When I come to think of it, I discover that I have never seen the elegant Security Chief in anything but office slacks and prim black ties. Even now, I can just about make out the crosses of his tux under the material of his cardy.
Though the winter is as pronounced as any other day, the man doesn't look the least bit cold. Or even worn.
