Chapter 13 - Memory 13: Static, A Ball-Peen Hammer.

Darkness ensued once more, the way was unclear and the void had taken over. Jaklo felt familiarised in this environment however, the darkness was something he was accustomed to; something he was used to. Comfortable material graced his back, realising he was strapped to a desk chair. The only difference with this one was that it didn't spin at all.

In front of him was a TV, the screen was as black as the void around him as the loneliness of it all felt too heavy. Everything felt so familiar, he knew what this scenario was and it must have been a dream. It was something that had haunted him for a while, just as he was thinking over this and connecting the dots in his head the TV would flicker on. Static, Nothing but static was displayed on the screen with an ear piercing noise of pure Static like what was displayed, it seemed to echo for miles around in this dream-world that was a void.

"You slipped, everyone does." A figure would stand before him, occupying the view of the TV in the process "But we get back up again. Do you remember this memory Jaklo?" It asked, he looked up and seen the same familiar Mannequin mask this guy was wearing. Growling he'd look away, not enjoying this one bit so he would respond with a sharp "Fuck off"

The entity would suck his teeth and move closer to sit in front of him on a stool, gazing into his eyes as Jaklo could only make out the features of the Mannequin mask. "You do remember, don't you? You should, you were stuck here on that same chair in front of the same TV for 8 days. You were tortured, driven to near insanity and then drained of your ability.. Do you know what they're doing with your blood now, Jaklo? They're producing a weapon.. They're making something that will kill us all unless you do something." Looking up, the raccoon had tears welling up in his eyes as his emotions rushed. In a tear-filled voice he would reply back with "Why is it me? Why me? Isn't there someone else who can do it?"

. . .

"Like you said yourself.. It's a one way road and you're already set down it, your Ouroboros has recovered a good bit ever since Krover robbed you of it. You and another man you will meet along the way will be the catalyst to a better world, you will rob the Musician of his life.. His glory and his influence and then we can all call it a day, huh?"

The static was still deafening, it was a cruel reminder to him constantly. Each time he seen something that would drive him to the brink, static would flood over his thoughts. That same noise, Krover robbed him of his dignity during those 8 days. His morality and his cheery nature, he practically stole his soul the second he extracted his ability from his body. Even if his ability partially recovered over time like a virus, multiplying slowly inside of him.

"But your problem, Jaklo.. Your problem is that you can't remember.. You're too busy hiding it.. It's best to reminisce on things your mind is hiding on you. I have reminded you of what Krover did to you, why don't you try to piece together the puzzle.. You can't expect to beat your enemy if you can't even understand how they got you into this position in the first place. It's like fighting an army of ninjas with little to no combat experience whatsoever.. right?"

Jaklo would look around, then glancing at the Mannequin man once more and asking "Are my friends okay? What happened to me? Did I die?" Leaning forward, placing a hand reassuringly on his shoulder, the lights would flash red once more as the TV had a red circle directly in the middle of the static now. He would then answer "If you were dead I wouldn't be here talking to you.. Your friends are fine but you're clearly fucking not, I'm not your fucking shrink.. your therapist or your mother but I am here to give you advice.. the last time I fucking gave you advice you forgot about it.. So how about you do what I say, sit here and think about why you're in this position.. Why you're so fucking dead inside and why you're failing."

...

Remember he did, closing his eyes all he could see now were his memories.. Some happy.. Some sad.. One memory caught his eye, a happy one. Halloween of '34, the calm before the storm. The static in his head slowly washed away as he enveloped himself in his thoughts, just like he did when he was actually tied to this chair sometime in his life and feeling the TV static drone drain away his sanity each coming second. It might've been the very thing to save him, and it'll save him here too.

... October 31st 2034 ...

Alarms, Panicked grunting and submission of every customer inside as they laid their stomachs against the floor. Two armed men with cartoonish Halloween zombie Fox masks would dawn beautiful and professional tuxedos that made the rifles they held far more intimidating to everyone in the small Stardown bank. "Open the fucking vault back there.. It's locked, why is it still locked? I have no hesitation shooting you myself and opening it.. You wanna die you banker fuck?" His tone of voice was stern and demanding, the worker would press a button along the counter and a slight click could be heard opening the bank vault in the back room. His friend took notice, moving back towards the vault. "Keep an eye on the kids and those workers, keep them off of the panic button. Stay on fucking crowd control" Moving into the back room to the vault, the zip of a bag could be heard as he began to bag any valuables stored inside. The crowd controller would remain to be as threatening as possible, focusing more on the staff rather than the frightened customers on the floor. "Gonna be a good halloween, ey? Trick or Treat.." Now focusing on a helpless girl on the floor he'd chuckle at her before teasing "No need to cry darlin' your money is insured by the government anyway.. we're not robbing you.. we're robbing Uncle Sam" Just before he could say another word, light engulfs the bank as the acceleration of a car outside roared ferociously. Speeding right through the glass doors and becoming stuck in the frame of the building, unable to fit through.

"FUCK!! TROY WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" It was their getaway driver, the horn blared as his head laid right up against it. The crowd became even more riled up as they attempted to scatter but were quickly subdued once again as he fired two shots in the air to calm them. The other banker would flee from the room with a half-full bag of bills and look in surprise past the eyes of the latex mask he wore ".. Did you give him some more Orange Haze? That was our getaway driver.. Dios mío.. " Moving around to the window, it was smashed in by something. The driver surprisingly didn't have much wounds, he was stunned by something. Just before he could catch another look, another flash arrived but it was a flash of red and a hint of green as he was knocked onto the broken glass on the floor. Jumping out of the backseat where he was out of view, a red raccoon would appear dawning a black eye-mask and gazing around at the two bankers. "Get on the fucking floor, circus freak!" Aiming his gun at him, Jaklo smirked and pulled out what looked like a cylinder of some kind "You'll be layin' along the floor when I'm done with you!" he'd state comically, amused by all of this. The weapon he held was attached to some sort of small black, yet fragile rope that could be used as a whip of some kind. Throwing it towards him as it ties immediately around his gun, yanking it out of his grasp and pulling it towards him, the raccoon would then decommission the gun by yanking the Magazine out and throwing it to the floor where the fallen robber would attempt to grab onto it, followed by a quick stun from the taser whip the raccoon dawned. Electricity enough to knock him out would pacify the amateur thief, his partner looked in awe, now left with nothing but a handgun he pulled from within his suit jacket.

Before he could do anything, rolling across the floor athletically came the raccoon. Tying the wire like rope around him while continuously sending him for a ride, causing him to shoot erratically while the raccoon rolls around him and eventually leaves him caught in a knot. Turning the taser on and watching as he is fried for a bad night in the hospital. Dropping to the floor as the others watch in awe, some customers believe it was a good Samaritan and that it was okay to stand but the raccoon reminded them he was not. Grabbing the bag and smiling.

"I'll be off! My-My this was a very eventful and fruitful Halloween.. Still gotta be treats in it for the adults and not just the kiddos!" His confidence was precious, evident in his loud booming voice to all around as he threw the duffel bag over his bag and quickly ran to perform an agile jump over the hood of the car before sliding under the door-frame and into the night. The thieves did the hard part for him and this raccoon came out of nowhere to steal their score and give them a felony charge in prison in return.

The alarm was signalling in the distance by this point, the sound of numerous police sirens rung out as Jaklo reached an alley-way. Ripping the eye-mask off and storing it in the pocket of his flashy letterman jacket, it was red with a fitting 'J' patch on the right chest of the clothing, completing the outfit with ripped blue jeans and to his preference he had no shoes on whatsoever. It went decently well with his red fur and boastful green hair. Moving further down the alley, his foot splashed a puddle as he turned a corner to spot an ally of his. Scarletta, his female companion was standing smoking a cigarette and blowing the smoke in his face once she saw him, dropping it and stubbing it out beneath her feet "You're late, raccoon." Nervously he'd chuckle and shrug like it wasn't a big deal "Late but I still got the job done.. Stakes were high for me y'know! All you had to do was sit here with your thumb up your ass, you should drop those cigarettes.. they're bad for yaaaa." Chuckling at his remarks, she'd turn heel and continue on down the alley with him, standing significantly taller than him. "Well, enjoy the little things in life no matter how bad they are.. You know robbing is bad for you?" Scoffing he'd walk casually down the street like nothing happened, a gang of kids dressed in flashy Halloween costumes would push past them in a playful sprint. "We got to make a living somehow, besides you agree with that otherwise you wouldn't be here." he'd state to no avail as she shook her hand dismissively

"Okay, Okay jackass.. you made your point no need to get all political about it." Looking up with an angered expression the raccoon shook his tail impatiently "Nothin' political about it! Politics is bullshit.. if Politics were good, this city would be good too.. It's full of scumbags.. hookers.. and teens looking to party, of course there's fiends like us. Those kids back there shouldn't even be in this side of the city." Smiling down at him she'd cross the street, moving further out of the city area and approaching closer to a more empty part of the city. A warehouse was present there "You have quite the big heart for a criminal, it's odd you even have care for us.. That's something I wouldn't expect in this line of work. And also why I respect you, Jaklo." Smiling a little he'd bite his lip, approaching the warehouse and sighing "We're not Criminals, Scar-- We're just people trying to survive in this fucked up city and one day we're going to be living happily somewhere.. We're pacifistic and we just take what we need to get by! As is most people, years will pass and soon this will all be behind us." Feeling bittersweet at that fact she'd walk up to the warehouse and put her hand along the door, switching the topic quickly. "Speaking of Years going by-- It's Rosco's birthday" Jaklo would stand there and grin "Indeed it is, I haven't forgotten.. I respect that kid too much to forget his special day."

Slamming open the iron double doors of the warehouse, Scarletta walked inside and cracked her knuckles before sighing with relaxation "Nothing like home though.. I was gonna ask why the odd robbery tonight but-- either it's your insane kleptomania acting up or you're fetchin' a gift are ya?" She'd ask, walking slowly down a narrow steel hallway in the barren abandoned establishment. It was a place originally used as an electronics storage and is no longer in commission thanks to the fact technology has evolved in these times past that of modern electronics. "You caught me.. Don't tell him what's in the bag though, it's for him and him alone to spend on whatever he likes." Winking at her she'd growl before shaking her head in disapproval like a concerned parent "Ellis will be on your tail for sure.. he's a bitch about unscheduled robberies, that damn pessimism has him thinkin' the cops are gonna bust through those doors any moment now." Putting a finger to his lips he'd reach the end of the hallway, pressing his paw along the door and opening it to reveal a much more calm atmosphere than the shallow and dark hallway they ventured through together, entering into a brightly lit environment with lamps, sofas and even Television surrounded by boxes and tables presumably for messy storage, there was no doubt in anyone's mind a lot of this was either stolen or paid for with dirty money.

Ellis was the first one to approach Jaklo, he looked mannerly and stood orderly in front of him with a welcoming smile that dropped the second he noticed the duffel bag. "We talked about this.." Smiling back at him, the raccoon would throw the bag down onto the table and pat his paw against his chest reassuringly "In and out job.. not that we'd ever get caught for it.. I made sure of it, trust me.. Simple enough joint that had a lack of security cameras and vault security, only witnesses were terrified customers and some angry bandits that nearly beat me to the punch!" Much more tolerant of this version of Jaklo he'd scoff before turning to help another fella with what looked to be decorations, birthday decorations. "He's awake?" Jaklo asks, Ellis responds while Scarletta lazily slumps along a couch and watching television "He's a mouse.. Of course he isn't awake yet Jaklo. You be the one to wake him we're pretty much done, guessing that dirty money is his present?"

Jaklo nodded before sitting right down on a free couch and kicking his feet up along a stained coffee table "Token of my appreciation for the kid.. he's done well for himself this year and I have nothing but respect for him" Ellis would approach him again, seeming a little angry at how calm and confident the raccoon's demeanour was "He's only good because he's an Outsider.. He's an outcast, he'll mess up one day and we'll all land in the slammer for it." Jaklo puffed his shoulders up and sighed, continuing his trademark confident smile at Ellis and brushing him off. "We .. Tolerate Outsiders, Ellis. We aren't the feds' we aren't the other gangs that run around here and we're certainly not.. Krover Limelight.. God knows what that sick fuck does to those poor people." Before Ellis could respond, what looked to be a panda of some sort would approach Ellis from behind in his tall and buff stature "It's done sir" Clapping his hands together, Jaklo chuckled before standing up with excitement "Excellent work, Arasai.. Pandas are so helpful in tedious things like setting up decorations, I'm quite small y'see so I could never reach up to the ceiling to put the balloons up" Arasai, The panda would look back at him and narrow his eyes a little before responding "Step-ladders exist." Jaklo's confidence dropped to a look of surprise followed by a nervous chuckle and sheepish grin. ".. Ha-Ha.. Right.. Hold on let me go get him." With that and a happy stroll, he moved on to another part of the warehouse. Past the office and into the rooms in the back that featured beds with a storage crate next to each of them. The only person sleeping was Rosco.

Moving over to approach him he'd lay a hand along his shoulder, he was small and quite bony making it easy to shake him out of his sleep with a short gasp "Happy birthday buddy.. You awake enough to come out to everyone? they're eager to see you.." Sitting up with a light huff, still dazed from his restful sleep he'd yawn and pick up his glasses resting along a crate next to his bed and placing the round lens along his snoot to sit as he looks over at Jaklo with bright blue eyes "... Yes, Just waking up a little. How are you doing Jak?" He'd ask with interest, seeming to have care in his voice which brought a smile along Jaklo's face as he gives a tender response "I'm doing well, Kid. Happy to see you're in good spirits for your birthday." Moving out of bed, he had a white t-shirt on with nothing but shorts underneath. Similar to Jaklo he didn't wear shoes and walked around on his paws everywhere. "I'm sensing a lot of electricity from that room.. A lot more than usual.. Is that Christmas lights? You didn't set up a party for me did you?" Jaklo scoffed sarcastically hoping he wouldn't notice and replied "Ah- No! Just lighting the place up a little more, you'll see when you come out to peek"

Opening the door back to the main room, The rodent's eyes lit up with surprise as he let out a nervous chuckle and immediately tensed up at the sight of all the people dramatically wishing him a loud "Happy birthday!" Jaklo gave him the encouragement he needed, patting his shoulder and bringing him along. "Your ability to sense electricity is astonishing.. I thought for sure this surprise party's cover was blown because you sensed it" Smiling up at Jaklo he gave another nervous chuckle and shaking his head "Astonishing? ... I thought you people looked down on Outsiders.." His tone was shy, fixing his glasses back up onto his snout as Jaklo quickly hugged him tight excitedly "No.. No way, You're different.. I like to say the term 'Outsider' is used for .. bad people with abilities, you're not an Outsider. You're one of us" Not too sure about his reassurance he'd huff and shrug his shoulders before walking over to receive a hug from the gentle giant Panda Arasai who simply muttered "Happy Birthday Rosco" to him with a smile. "Roll the music! We're gonna chill up in here everyone it's a party!" Everyone seemed to be having a good time, flopping back onto the couch with a tensely shy Rosco who clutched a cup full of tea made for him by Scarletta. Jaklo reached back and would turn on the small radio as it began to blast music. Ellis was standing away though, over at a counter in what was presumably the kitchen in this scattered place. Staring down Jaklo with a look of disapproval and worry as he prepared some alcohol.

( I Feel You - Scattle would play here )

The party would go on, Jaklo had one hand around Rosco and another on an alcoholic beverage. Most people were enjoying themselves and just generally celebrating the moment of serenity, until Jaklo asked to bring the present over. "Let's show him what we got him, huh? I picked this up on the way back for you buddy" He states, pressing his finger against Rosco's chest and chuckling. Arasai would bring it over and smile a little at Rosco who smiled back, then he'd walk over and step outside. Closing the door behind him, inside the bag was of course hundreds if not thousands of stolen money. A proud gift from a kleptomaniac raccoon. The smile on the Mouse's face would drop almost immediately, seeming confused or almost overwhelmed as he looked at Jaklo who slowly gathered a concerned expression on his face before he nudged him a little "What's wrong? You don't like it?" The mouse almost immediately replied, speaking over the music with a light sigh. "Can't we put it towards the clubhouse? or getting out of here? it's a little much money Jaklo, I'm not sure if I can take it."

"Pshh! Of course you can buddy, there's plenty of time to get out of this city while we can. Don't worry about it, I have everything under control..." Jaklo practically lied through his teeth, trying to nudge him a little more to cheer him up but it had almost no effect on the concerned mouse who simply stared at the thousands of dollars of money stashed away neatly in the bag, he'd run the zipper over it and place it to the side before putting on a little smile towards Jaklo that was so obviously fake it wasn't even a pretend. "Thank you then Jaklo.." Then a real smile would form on his face as he closed his eyes "I appreciate it, I just don't know what I'm going to do with it." Taking another sip from his drink he'd sit up, his raccoon tail resting comfortably along the couch as he looks over at the money "It's your money, It's your choice to do what you please with it."

Just outside, the sound of the muffled party music blared as the tall panda Arasai would talk through a phone. His voice seemed shaky, in actuality he was a nervous wreck as the lump in his throat completely halted his ability to speak sometimes. "You let her go.. I called you like you asked, what do you want?" There was a ragged breathing on the other end of the phone, then a deep and monotone voice would speak out to him, almost amused judging by the subtle changes of pitch in his voice every now and again "No.. You do what I say and I'll let your mother walk again.. Her knees already seem bad enough on their own, I'm sure you wouldn't want a hammer to change that would you? You and I are alike.. as we get old.. so do our bones, I haven't had a good sleep on my back in years."

Arasai seemed desperate, even if he wasn't a momma's boy he would still be rattled up by this. "Why me?" He would ask, finally managing to speak as his lip quivered and tears would form in his eyes just as quickly as the lump formed in his stomach. "Because you were ssstupid enough to leave a paper trail to your mother's location.. Arasssai.." The voice was familiar, on the other end was a tall Raven. Standing tall with a scarred beak as he was also pretty buff, dressed in a traditional tidy mobster suit and hat with a woman tied up with a chain connecting to the ceiling in front of him, one hand clutched a phone and the other clutched a rusted ballpeen hammer. "What do you want me to do huh? Tell me.. You want me to sell out my friends? hm?"

"You take me for an amateur Mr. Caddel.. Jaklo has been on my turf for years.. robbing and robbing.. even hitting some of my Rackets every now and again, now I have dirt on you it isn't so fun anymore is it? It isn't fun when your mother's bonesss are on the line.. Get me him" Arasai leaned his forearm against the wall, pressing his head against it and sweating "Get who? Jaklo?"

"Sssave the dessert for last.. mother's used to teach us that didn't they? No, get me the one he's closest with.. that new guy, the outsider. Bring him to me on the 7th street down from the Robard Bar" The mobster would ask but the panda seemed confused, looking back at the room and continuing to listen to the party with a saddened expression. "That's where the Slaughterhouse is.." Sadness and anger silently boiled inside of him as he winced, "You brought my mother to a fucking slaughterhouse? You fucking animal." Through his ranting, Krover would interrupt him and speak over him "You have one day.. tonight would work too, bring him here and you'll get your mother back." The phone line cuts, the static humming noise filling his ears as he slouched down the wall. Clutching his head in complete distress as it hits the floor, quietly sobbing while the droning music and noises of everyone having a good time fills the cold hallway. The only coherent sound being the droning off-hook tone besides the panda's desperate sobbing.

The door to the hallway would open again, entering the party was Arasai who seemed to completely managed to pull himself together in the space of a few minutes. Resuming his monotone voice and hollow expression while he walks over to view Scarletta and Jaklo dancing in a foolish manner to the music. Rosco was just sitting alone along the couch looking a little tense but nonetheless he was enjoying the company. The panda's eyes immediately set on the mouse and he got shivers realising what he still had to do for his mother's life. Approaching the beer crate he'd look inside; about to take one but then gazing over towards the refrigerator over towards the end of the room and destined to it instead. With a sharp pull he'd open it and reach inside to pull out a bottle of whisky, flicking the bottle open with a claw and suddenly gulping it down straight with sharp inhales through his nostrils until he felt a hand on the soft material of his shirt along his shoulder. Turning he'd lower the bottle with a quarter now missing and glancing back to meet the eyes of a wolf, one of the members of Jaklo's gang.

"Damn.. You're a party animal" The wolf would state, reaching past him and pulling out a new crate of beer and smirking at the bottle in his hands. "Yeah.." Was all he replied with, the wolf didn't pay him any mind considering how quiet he often was and walked past him back to the party with the new crate of beer. They were partying like college students and to the panda this was oddly peaceful to see his friends having fun but he was still worried, the whisky wasn't working so down went another quarter of the bottle into his stomach. Chugging it back before planting it back in the fridge and wiping his backhand along his maw, he was going to do this, tonight. For his mother and he knows he'll rescue her.

The night grew dim oddly quickly after that, the lights were low and most people had collapsed into bed to await the painful hangover in the morning. Jaklo was probably the first asleep, Scarletta had just went to bed and Rosco was about to follow. Arasai dwelled on the couch, feeling a little tipsy but he wasn't nearly as stressed as earlier. Staring off into the void before he was snapped out of his daydream by a concerned Rosco "You okay, Arasai? You wanna come to bed with us now?"

Arasai shook his head, acting humble and waving his big paw dismissively before standing up "Nah.. Not that tired, how about you? You didn't drink much did you?" His lower lip would quiver as he contemplated what to say next, in the meantime Rosco would respond "I'm not a big alcohol person at all.. I know my mom taught me that much, I guess I would be the designated driver if Scarletta wasn't here."

Nodding his head in respect he'd look towards the door, he was talking more than usual so it was a welcome surprise by Rosco "Indeed you would be, you're probably the most responsible one out of us all besides Ellis.. Say, you wanna come somewhere with me? It'll be quick.. just down around the block, I got something I wanna show you."

Rosco contemplated it, narrowing his eyes as if about to say no but he thought on it and nodded "I suppose, but not too long okay? I gotta hit the hay soon." Arasai chuckled sheepishly and started moving towards the door. "Nonsense, you slept nearly all day today. You're a night animal like me I reckon." They'd continue their small talk, leaving the building without a noise or sound that would alert the others. The streets were quiet around there, the sound of fast cars in the distance within the town echoed through the streets as their engines roared.

The night air was calming, the street lights were about the only things around to keep the pair company. Silence ensued for a little after a while before Rosco would break it as they walk down past the Robard bar "So.. Where are we going? There's nothing down this way but a supermarket and .. an abandoned meat processing facility last I checked."

Walking ahead, Rosco surveyed the perimeter while gazing right down the road that led to a boundless forest full of trees that looked to be stalking through the clouds with how tall they stood. The click of a gun could be heard Rosco and he didn't have to turn to see for him to get shivers up his back, the streetlights above them would flicker and even brighten a little out of distress thanks to the Mouse's ability.

"Just keep walking.. Don't turn around, go to the slaughterhouse." Rosco felt a lump in his throat and so did Arasai, unaware of what was going on but he complied and continued to walk "Arasai? What are you doing?" Was all he could muster out, he was both confused and frightened as the streetlights above grew brighter. The towering slaughterhouse was dark, the sign on the building was shrouded by shadows and soon to be illuminated by the oddly glowing streetlights "Be calm and do what I say.. you don't have to get hurt here, I promise I'll explain everything after, okay?"

"You're drunk.." Rosco immediately exclaimed, almost ready to turn around but he would walk in through the graffitied doorway and into the similarly textured hallway of darkness where a foul stench of ammonia and other would lurk in the putrid air. "I need you to be calm.." A look of sadness was forever present on the panda's face in this moment, he didn't know whether he was shattering the mouse's trust or doing the right thing, but he had a plan.

Exiting the hallway, Rosco continued to oblige his requests and they'd enter a large open area where the lights above would illuminate the surrounding machines that are all adequately designed to dissemble and grind meat down. Standing there would be Krover, the towering Raven steadied his eyes on the two as he stood within the shadows away from the light. Even within the shadows, the piercing green eyes scanned the two.

"Here he is.. Now where's my mother huh?" Krover walked out from the shadows, wincing at the light that shone along his fragile beak and feathers. Presenting his black pinstripe suit jacket, black tie and purple vest underneath with a mobster hat that looked the same with a purple band to match. "She's here, waiting on you. Becaussse you were so compliant I haven't touched a hair on her head, her arms may hurt though. She's been chained up for a while hanging in the air like a punching bag.."

Angered but trying to keep his cool, Arasai would aim the gun at him and grit his teeth "You really think I'd just hand over my friend? You're a fucking idiot." Arrogantly, Krover would stand unchanged and stare "So it seems.. You're very predictable Arassssai.. You know that?" Rosco seemed disturbed by his presence, thanks to Jaklo he knew exactly who this man was and wasn't planning on going anywhere near him.

"Predict this." Arasai shouted and without a second thought he'd pull the trigger, Krover's reflexes were as fast as his trigger finger and he'd rush towards him as quick as his large wings would let him boost forward. Getting shot in the chest at least three times over before closing his claw around the hand that shot him, crushing the gun from Arasai's hand and suddenly whacking Rosco in the head with it. Watching the mouse's frail body fall to the floor before tanking a punch in the face from Arasai and stumbling back, settling his wings with a huff.

Ripping open his shirt he'd reveal a bulletproof vest and for the first time the psychopath would grin "You didn't think I would come prepared? For that.. once I kill you, I'm going to gut your mother in the same way I gut you.." Approaching him he'd be quickly attacked by a persevering Arasai, gripping his weakened hand again and crushing it once more before sticking his other talon straight up into the gut of the Panda, a sharp exhale exiting his mouth as he winces in agony while it continues to stab over and over again without hesitation. "Grh.. Get.. Off of me you fucker"

"You should have taken my offer.." The talon would sink deeper, coughing up a mixture of blood and vomit from the excessive drinking before he'd dry heave before falling to the floor and clutching his exposed gut. His body rapidly bleeding out and dying while weakening by the second, looking over at an unconscious Rosco before his attention was brought back by Rosco. The last thing he'd stare at was straight down the barrel of his own gun before darkness with a bang.. Static, he was gone.
