Chapter 51 - Chapter 12.3

Looking at my current creations and remembering the Tin Man with the cast iron head, I just smirked: my skills were growing! Golems didn't need food, tired several times slower than humans and regenerated just as quickly, didn't fall apart with time (though time was yet to tell), and could easily withstand the strongest blows. They were almost as weak against magic as the living, and the example of the Lumberjack, who was killed by an aboriginal mage, was a clear demonstration of that. Though the protective amulets worked on my creatures as well as on humans, I only had to find the right numbers and place them on the golems.

Within two weeks, the settlement's defenses had been restored, with several additional towers of logs padded with sheet iron. Machine guns and automatic rifles brought from the police department were waiting there for their turn. Unfortunately, despite the huge number of weapons and ammunition, nothing was more powerful than an SVD. Even the riot police had the same pair of espadrons in their safe, no "hackers" or PCs. Five handguns - RPK-74 and ten smoothbore Vepreys - were to be the main firepower of the settlement. The hunting rifles had two ten-round magazines each and were capable of emptying them in five seconds. At a distance of no more than forty meters the front was thrown by a dense cloud of lead, through which no one without protection (armor, magic or personal thick hide) would pass.

There were a lot of PPs, from the Cedar to the PP-90. And, of course, the PMs. We brought about two hundred pistols from the department with a thousand and a half rounds of ammunition in bulk. We armed the gardeners who worked in the fields in relative proximity to the walls.

We had fifty AKSU-74s. A good machine gun, I will not say anything bad about it, but the accuracy of fire over two hundred meters greatly decreases. And at 200 meters many of our guys could not hit the target with it. AKS-74 and AK-74M, ten of each. Three small-caliber rifles with very little ammunition in the amount of two hundred. Seven SVDs and two SKSs.

There were one hundred and twenty rounds of ammunition in the magazines of each automatic rifle. The SPs, which had twenty rounds each in their magazines, had forty rounds in their magazines and two magazines. The rifles had forty rounds of ammunition.

In addition to the obligatory stock in slats, there were two boxes of machine gun "five" in a separate safe - over two thousand rounds of ammunition. One for rifles - eight hundred and a little. Three boxes of pistols - nine by eighteen and a tank of Russian nine by nineteen.

It would seem that in general there is plenty of ammunition, but only for simple firing we burned two hundred for automatic rifles and four hundred for submachine guns. It's a pity, but there's no way the owners can do it without shooting guns and stuffing their hands with ammunition.

Oliver promised to pay a visit to the hunting store and to the department for the lists of hunters, who, in addition to weapons, can get hold of ammunition.

Once again the enclave was buzzing with excitement before the forthcoming hike. Not just anywhere, but to the nearest kingdom, where the prisoners had come from. Or not prisoners, I don't know on what grounds a few natives live in our village. They seem to behave quite loyally, but they never let them out of their sight. They even sleep in the big room, where there are beds of ten other earthlings of the poorest and the frostbitten, who do not care about the possible sharpening in the ear in their sleep. So far, however, there is no problem from them, on the contrary, they try in every way to help us.
