As the sky reached midday, Vain kept rolling the bear's body trying his best to make it to the village. So far he had only reached the river again, but only a bit further than where the ants were. Other than that he was still too far away from the village to even consider making it to even the place where his marker was placed.
He had spent nearly ten hours simply moving which originally took him only an hour, but that could also be partly attributed to how he was dragging instead of rolling for the first six hours.
Taking the time to get a break, Vain climbed a tree to get a better view of the scenery as he reflected on everything that happened on this level. Spending a few hours simply eating while watching the red ants far away move. Despite how beautiful the scenery was, he was tired of being without a good weapon and in a place where he didn't know if he would be safe. Sighing, Vain simply went down the tree and began to roll the bear again.
