Vain soon found the path had split again, this time with one area being a wooden staircase while the other continued the hallway. Deciding to follow the staircase Vain soon found the passage opened into a familiar hallway.
"Level 5?"
While Vain wondered if he had found his way back so easily, a person noticed him and ran up to him. "Sir you just came from the boiler room? Do you need a guide?"
"Uhh- Yeah, can you show me where MEG is at? I need to meet with a man named Hendrickson."
The person suddenly put on a respectful expression, "Follow me."
After a while, Vain soon saw the familiar office he had met Hendrickson in. After entering Vain saw Pop's defeated look as he was talking to Hendrickson.
"What happened?"
Pops looked at Vain with sadness and simply spoke neutrally, "Looks like we will have to work for this person for the next year and a half. In a year's time, you will get another chance to talk to Athena."
