Turning over the paper Vain saw more writing, "If you see this then you aren't an idiot and want to find more information, so please turn over the paper after you are done."
Turning over the second piece of paper was more information, "If you are tired you may sleep in this room, but it is not recommended that you stay more than three days inside for mental deterioration will occur to the point of forgetting large parts of memory. Although it is possible to meet others in this place it is uncommon.
We would also like to warn you about the wretches that wander. These creatures are humans who have not; eaten, slept, drank, or have gone past the point of insanity. If any of these have been going on for two to three days, the wretched cycle start, but it can be held back up to two weeks with Almond water continuously drunk. We wish you luck and we expect great things from you.
M.E.G."
On the last page only had the words, "I turned the page"
After only a few moments of looking over the paper a few more times did Vain stop and close his eyes to get some much-needed rest. Finally getting time to think about the experiences he had just gone through. Thinking back at the loud buzz of the other rooms he could now see how he had really already gone to the point of near insanity since all he did was count and walk forward or to the nearest exit to the room. Now only with a clear mind did Vain realize that he had seen some paintings on rare occasions and he could now see how zombie-like he had become with just the buzz of those lights.
Looking up at the one electric light bulb in the room he could only hear a quiet buzz that was considered to be silence compared to the loud buzzing of everywhere else. Vain could now appreciate how strange the sound was before, using his confusion and hopelessness for escape he simply wandered if he wasn't strangely attracted to this room, he would have simply wandered to his death.
Closing his eyes, Vain fell asleep...
***
Checking his phone, Vain sees he got six hours of sleep.
Feeling thirst overtaking him Vain decides to officially try the weird movements to achieve, 'no-clipping' and enter what M.E.G. called level 1.
What the movements looked like you are trying to push through a wall while tripping. That is the best description, but the footwork is special in that it needs to be done right for it to work, or at least that is what Vain thought after running into the wall several times.
After nearly twenty times hitting the wall and Vain thinking he just got some sick joke played on him did he suddenly fall through the wall where everything suddenly went black.
Within a blink of an eye lights suddenly appeared and the room changed into a warehouse feel, then the lights turned off then on as if Vain blinked. Looking around it had only a single wooden cargo crate, not in the center of the large room, but just sitting there at the side a foot from the wall. The room was about 50x60 meter room, with a height of about 20 meters. There was also a thin fog in the room that only went to knee height. The last noticeable thing he could see was a small section that had exposed rebar.
Remembering what M.E.G. had said he got close and listened to the box in case of strange sounds, after about a minute of silence did Vain come close to the box and open it. The box did not have a latch or anything, so Vain simply tried to lift up the top of the box in hopes that it will open easily and is not nailed down. Unluckily the box was sealed and did not have a way to open it no matter where Vain looked. So without a choice did Vain kick the crate in hopes of just breaking into it.
The box's boards were thin and were easily broken after a single kick. After breaking a couple of boards could Vain see the inside of the box clearly; a hiking backpack, one aluminum can with a twist-off top labeled Almond water, colored pencils, a stapler, drawing pencils, a tree sapling, a coffee mug, and a box of straws.
Without any room to be picky Vain picked up the backpack, Almond water, and the drawing pencils in case he just wants to write something to not go insane. Opening the Almond water and chugging it down, Vain noticed the brown cap of the bottle turned red for some reason.
After a quick rest, Vain also noted that all the mental problems that had been arising from the buzzing in level 0. The buzzing here was only a little louder than the manila room's buzzing and didn't have any effect on his mental sanity.
Walking around carefully he went to what appeared to be a hallway that wasn't mentioned by M.E.G. but was the only exit from this place. The place looked like an unfinished hallway being that it was completely white with the walls and roof being made of drywall, with the floor just being cement. Walking around carefully so as to not make enough sound to attract entities if they even exist.
The next room still had that warehouse feel, but the room was a different size of about 20x40 meters and only 10 meters in height. Unfortunately, this room didn't have any box, so Vain could only move on. The only big difference besides the lack of crate was the puddles that were in some places at random.
The same hallway and the room dimensions were again the only change, but luckily this time there was a single crate directly to the right of the entrance. Unfortunately, he heard strange growling sounds coming from the box, so all he could do was quietly move away and search the rest of the room.
Nothing. Next room. Nothing. Next room. Crate- no sound. This crate had hinges on the top, so it could be opened without having to break it. Inside the box were a hatchet, rope, miscellaneous electronic supplies, gears of different sizes, and a vile of green liquid.
Vain could only take the hatchet as protection and leave everything else in hopes of finding food. Vain's stomach was already yelling at him to eat something and carrying anything unnecessary that would just weigh him down will only make him hungrier.
Room after room. Five rooms and finally another crate, but this one had a strange gurgling sound coming from it, so Vain could only move on. Three more rooms and this time there are three different crates all together with none of them making any sound!
Vain can't help but think that he is either extremely lucky to find this, or extremely unlucky for not finding any he could take in the rooms before. Inside the first crate had dried space food as labeled on the bag, a bottle of Almond water, and a small disco ball. The next crate has a small dagger of about 6 inches, rope, office supplies, wires, and a jar that looks like it would hold jam.
The last crate holds a Chanelle bag, a coffee maker, rotten meat, a bag of napkins, and a coffee mug with the words ' world greatest dad' making the entire box entirely useless to Vain. Luckily with the greater first box, Vain doesn't really care and sits down to eat and drink some Almond water to keep it down.
Keeping four of the five bags of dried food, 3/4 of the Almond water, and a small dagger about 6 inches.
Standing up again Vain decided to keep moving in the hope to find the hub that M.E.G. had mentioned before.
After about four rooms did Vain start to hear a faint growling coming from the upcoming room.
