After walking for ten hours straight, Vain finally saw the familiar opening. Besides fighting a few different groups of entities, they were all luckily too small of a group to completely overpower him. Even so, he now had several cuts all over his body showing many places where he was bitten or scratched.
Now standing in a sort of lit room, Vain could once again clearly see the forest made of both normal trees and huge mushroom trees. Seeing this familiar sight he knew he was just a few steps away from finding a warm bed to sleep in.
After resting he spent the next 20 hours exploring the ruined forest. Only after so long did he find one of the M.E.G. marked exits along with his first human interaction in nearly two weeks!
