Waking up Vain felt the cold wind from the night. Despite feeling completely refreshed, looking up revealed that the moon had only reached halfway through the sky signifying midnight.
Standing up and stretching Vain looked around only to notice that there wasn't anyone else awake besides some patrolling guards. Realizing this Vain could only focus on trying to sleep again since he wouldn't be able to get anything done with everyone sleeping.
After laying in the grass for three hours and not being able to fall back asleep he gave up and decided to try and strike up a conversation with a nearby guard. It was then he realized that not everyone was as nice as the first two guards.
"What da ya want?" Crudely speaking the guard spoke with great disdain in his voice.
