Pops laughed as he pointed at Vain, "Well, this kid right beside me is the one who caused this whole thing."
"I'll be damned! How did you do it?! I thought after James left there was no chance he would come back!"
Pops didn't let Vain speak as he spoke animatedly with Jane. They truly seemed to be great old friends making everyone around them feel strange. One moment the supposed 'lead' of the group is yelling at the 'late' pair and the next they can do nothing but watch as the people who were actually late talk with so much familiarity with one of the two who were being yelled at.
Luckily Vain spoke up and broke the chattering, "Hey Pops? Weren't you the one who was yelling at me to go before we were late?"
"OH! I almost forgot why we were here! HAHA! Jane, are you the one leading this expedition?"
