Diana came down and met nanny Linda setting the table with Clark lending a helping hand.
"Is something wrong? You wasted time." Clark asked as he dropped a plate of fried sardines on the table.
"He was having a nightmare when I came, but he's sleeping soundly now," Diana explained absentmindedly.
"Oh," Clark said not surprised.
Just then nanny Linda walked in with a tray full of side dishes. She placed them one by one and I couldn't hold my curiosity as I watched her.
"Since when did you know Skylar's nanny?" I felt like it will eat me whole if I didn't ask.
I saw both Clark and nanny Linda stiffen at my question.
"About three years ago when we moved here." It was Clark that answered. Diana nodded. She was still in her thoughts and when she came to, she noticed nanny Linda and Clark's wary gaze on her.
"Let's eat," Diana said breaking the ice that probably froze everyone seeing as they didn't move a finger.
