Chapter 6 - Chapter Six – What The..

As we drive home, Tiff keeps trying to get me to talk about what is wrong. However, I just blow her off staying quiet. Staring out the window, I can't help but feel uneasy. My brain feels fuzzy. Like everything that I was just told won't absorb into my brain. How could it? Not only did I get told that werewolves are real, but, if I tell anyone then they are in danger. Does that mean I'm in danger? Wait, oh my God, am I? Fuck, they wouldn't have let me left if I was, right? Right? This is crazy.

"So you aren't going to tell me?" Tiff asks for the hundredth time.

"Tiff, nothing is wrong other than a headache. Please just drop it" I beg.

"No, because you dont trust me" She huffs pulling into the driveway of my house. "Get out"

"Tiffany" I sigh.

"Get out of my car" She hisses, "You are my best friend, you can tell me anything! Yet you refuse"

"Its more complicated then that!" I try to argue.

"More complicated then trusting your best friend?" She asks.

"Tiffany I love you, but I can't. I cant tell you. You know I trust you!" I try to reason with her, however she turns away.

"Get out of my car" She mumbles, "I won't tell you again"

With a small sigh I unbuckle my seat belt and get out. Right after I shut the door she immeditaly pulls out of the drive way. I just watch. Slowly I head back inside, as I unlock the door I could feel eyes on me. So I quickly get inside, locking the door behind me.

"Carlotta?" I hear a familiar voice say behind me, immediately my heart aches. It cant be her.

"Victoria?" I ask frowning as I turn around, there she stood, my older sister who disappeared five years ago, "Is that really you?" I ask frowning small.

"Im sorry Carlotta for just leaving, without a word, but I heard the news and I knew you would understand" She says taking a step towards me.

"What news? Understand what? What?" I ask frowning small "Mom and dad said you were dead!"

"I know, I disappeared, but technically they never found my body" She whispers hugging me. Immediately tears start streaming down my face.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Let me explain.."

-

It has been two days since my sister dropped in, my parents still don't know that their oldest daughter, Victoria, is alive. She made me promise to not tell anyone and that she would be in contact. Currently it is Monday morning. Tiffany still has not talked to me. However, Vincent and I haven't stop talking. He wants to start driving me to school even though I can drive myself. After we argued about it for a bit, I eventually agreed. Its currently 7:15 in the morning. I am dressed and ready to go. As I eat breakfast my phone buzzes.

"Im here" It read from Vincent, why is he so early? Quickly I typed back that I would be right out. I decide to not finish breakfast and just head out. Once outside I see Vincent and Mason standing outside Vincent's car. Slowly I walk up to them.

"Hey" I awkwardly mumble.

"Hey, I'm so sorry Carlotta, Mason's car broke down this morning so I have to drive him" He mumbles hugging me small.

"It's okay" I mumble hugging him back.

"How are you holding up?" Mason asks giving off a friendly smile.

"I'm alright, thank you. Still in shock, but alright" I shrug as Vincent kisses my cheek.

"It'll be okay" Vincent mumbles taking my hand.

"I know" I nod, glancing over the way to Tiffany's.

"I guess I have to sit in the back" Mason mumbles, making me giggle and snap my attention back to them.

"It's okay, I can sit in the back" I sweetly say.

"No" Vincent mumbles "You're sitting up from" he says squeezing my hand small.

"It's okay, really" I smile at Vincent "I'm smaller anyways"

"That's true! She's so small, she'll fit back there!" Mason pouts, making Vincent chuckle small.

"Fine" He laughs "If you inside Carlotta"

I nod small, kissing Vincent's cheek before getting into the back as Mason gets into the passenger's side. However, Vincent looks around for a moment before getting in.

"Is everything okay?" I ask frowning small.

"Yeah, Yeah, just thought I smelt someone watching us" he shrugs.

"I smelt her too" Mason says sternly.

"Her?" I ask frowning still.

"No one" Vincent says giving off a charming smile "Don't worry about it"

"Uh, okay?" I question.

"Sooo, Carlotta, anything fun happen this weekend?" Mason asks glancing back at me with suspicious eyes.

"Not really" I shrug small going onto my phone, "What about you guys?" I hum.

"Nothing much" Mason shrugs, though I can feel his eyes on me.

"Oh nice" I mumble scrolling through the messages that I've sent Tiffany. Though, she hasn't replied. About five ten minutes later we pull into the school parking lot. It's 7:45 now. Classes don't start till 8:10. As Vincent pulls into a parking spot and turns off the car he nods to Mason.

"I'll catch up to you guys later" He mumbles, getting out.

"Bye Mason" I say, giving off a friendly smile as I put my phone down looking at Vincent from the back, though, he's already looking at me.

"Who visited you?" He asks staring at me with unreadable eyes.

"What do you mean?" I ask frowning small.

"Who visited you?" He asks calmly, however, he seems to be anything but calm.

"No one" I shrug small.

"Don't lie" he growls small, making my flinch at the unhumanly growl.

"I'm not" I mumble unbuckling my seat belt.

"Carlotta, I swear to God. I could smell her" he growls.

"I don't know what you're talking about" I mumble looking anywhere but him.

"Damn you" he huffs "I know she visited you"

"Who?" I ask playing dumb, she said not to tell anyone.

"You're sister!" He barks at me, "I fucking told her not to, and she went anyways, and now she has you not telling the truth"

"I-" I start, however, he cuts me off

"Get out" he mumbles angrily.

"What?" I ask frowning small.

"Out of my car" he growls. This feels oddly familiar. Slowly I climb out with my backpack. Vincent starts his car as I get out, and soon zooms off. I just stand there. What the actual hell. He knew she was alive this whole time?
