Chereads / The Sociopathic King / Chapter 3 - Kingdom Control Panel 2

Chapter 3 - Kingdom Control Panel 2

This is the end of the data in the [Residents] tab. Over time, there will be more features and tabs, but it was necessary to increase the level of the control panel, which increased automatically when the level of the kingdom reached certain milestones. The first improvement will be at the 10th level of the kingdom.

I have two tabs left in the main one, which Abel did not look into [State] and [Treasury], he decided to start by checking the [State] tab. The submenu unfolded in front of him again.

[Requirements for level-up]

[State Titles]

[Ruler's Rewards]

[Golden Age]

He already knew the requirements for raising the level for each level, they are always the same, and thanks to the improvement of memory from the effect of the title [Genius], he remembered everything even better, but still decided to check to make sure that there are no differences between reality and the game.

All the conditions were really as he remembers.

[Number of inhabitants] - 23,458 / 25,000

[Level 3 Fighters] - 5/10

[Level 3 Magicians] – 1/5

Magicians were always required less than fighters, for two reasons. Firstly, fighters are not only knights, but also assassins, archers, martial artists. Secondly, the NPC's talent for magic is a lottery, a very small number had a good talent for magic, and without talent it's easier to jump out of the window than to reach at least the 2nd level in magic, not to mention higher ones.

[Money] - 17,532 / 50,000 gold coins.

[Area of territories] – 38 527/40 000 square kilometers.

[State experience points] – 7,379 / 10,000.

- In principle, not so bad.

I nodded. The next tab [State Titles] didn't particularly interest me because I already knew its contents.

[Young Kingdom] is a title given to a kingdom that has existed for less than 500 years. The title effect attracts more enemies.

- Yes, the effect of the title may seem bad, and that's what it is for bad rulers, but this is a real gold mine. Why? You will either have to fight to raise the level of the kingdom, or try to seize power in other territories by devious ways. As it is clear, I prefer the first option.

[Ruler's Rewards] — In this tab there were rewards that the player receives for each new level of the kingdom, and I didn't know if I would receive any rewards for the 1st and 2nd levels of the kingdom that the Kingdom of Jorgen already had, even before my relocation. And I was lucky - the awards were here.

- Great!

I rubbed my hands in anticipation of the awards. Although I already knew what I would get and there was no intrigue, I just wanted to get more benefits. For a moment, I felt grateful that there were few accidents in the game and I didn't have to spin a lottery or something like that, as it happened in novels with the system. The thing is, I wasn't really very lucky. Yes, I was not someone who was completely deprived of fortune, but still my luck was below average, that's a fact!

Okay, whatever. Picking up the rewards is more important. The reward for the 1st level of the kingdom was: A drawing of a Level 1 mana-rifle and a Recipe for the simplest antiseptic. At that moment, my eyes lit up, but only to go out a second later. I had the idea to use the memory enhancement from the title [Genius] to recall recipes and drawings that I saw in the game, but unfortunately in my memories there were some scribbles instead of recipes and drawings.

- Perhaps the one who moved me here, thought through this moment and distorted my memories.

For the 2nd level of the kingdom, the reward was as follows: The 1st Level Body Tempering Technique, the 1st Level Mana Collection Technique, the 2nd Level Mana-Shield Drawing and the 1st Level Healing Potion Recipe.

In the game, only NPCs could use the Body Hardening Technique and the Mana Collection Technique, and players raised the level automatically by accumulating experience points.

- It's worth checking out if I can use it now when it's not a game.

I made a note to myself and returned to the last submenu. [Golden Age] (the idea was stolen from a notorious turn-based strategy, but there are slight differences, I hope you'll forgive me), conditions for achieving the "Golden Age" were recorded in this tab. Despite the name, the duration of the "Golden Age" was not fixed, and the shortest "Golden Age" could last only a week. But it was still a great feature. During the "Golden Age", the fighting strength of the soldiers of the kingdom increased by 30%, the labor efficiency of all citizens increased by 30%, and demographic growth doubled, but the last point began to work at the moment when more than 6 months had passed since the beginning of the "Golden Age".

Not a single condition for the "Golden Age" has been achieved now. Here are some of them:

[Increase the average income of citizens] 27/50 silver coins per month, 1 week of the "Golden Age".

[Expand the size of the army] 1825/2000 soldiers, 1 week of the "Golden Age".

[Increase Treasury reserves] 17,532/50,000 gold coins, 1 week of the Golden Age.

[Build a magic tower] 0/1, 2 weeks of the Golden Age.

[Get rid of spies] 0/13, 2 weeks of the "Golden Age".

[Reduce the crime rate] 0/2 criminal groups destroyed, 2 weeks of the "Golden Age".

[To produce an heir] 0/1, the year of the "Golden Age".

- What the f*ck?

I was very surprised to read the last condition, it was impossible to have s3x in the game and therefore there was no such condition, but here...

- Even though I want to have children, but I just... um, how old am I? Should I consider that I'm 19, like Abel, or 28, like Daniel (I just realized that I didn't give the main character a name, I'll add a couple of lines about his background, in the first chapter)? And maybe add up the age?

-When in Rome, do as the Romans do! I'm 19 years old! So, I'm 19 years old, it's a little early for children, although if it works out, then let it.

I returned to the main menu again and decided to check the last tab — [Treasury]. In this submenu there were only 2 tabs [Store] and [Inventory], in the store you could buy everything from skill scrolls and consumables to drawings and business ideas. Purchases were made for coins, there was no complication in the form of system points or some other nonsense. In addition to buying, it was also possible to sell items, but only for 70% of the real price.

And with the [Inventory] tab, everything is clear. The only thing worth noting is that the inventory is not infinite, and it needs to be expanded for money. Now I have 1,000 cells, identical items stack up to 1,000 pieces in one cell, and any identical items, even equipment. The concept of "identical items" is also worth explaining. Two swords with different structures are not considered the same, but two swords with the same structure will be considered the same, even if their strength and other characteristics are different. In the case of "the same" equipment, depending on the player's desire, an item is obtained, either with better characteristics or with better durability. Also, "Identical objects" will be considered the remains of creatures of the same species and level, etc.

After making sure that [Store] and [Inventory] remained as I remember, I finished with the Control Panel and got out of bed.
