I felt disappointed with what he said, I thought this was a golden opportunity for Nicholas to taste my food, like, it was good, but I need points from him too though.
I bowed my head slowly as his rejection pained my heart, I felt so heartbroken already.
"Cheer up, lover, I didn't say I wasn't going to eat your food," he said trying to boost my morale.
I didn't feel like though, I was already feeling bored, like why would he just blatantly say no in such an awkward manner? I wondered.
"What then?" I asked switching my head to the corner.
