The worst thing I heard this evening that made my stomach twist with anger was the fact that Megan called me a cheat.
For heaven's sake, I wasn't a cheat, the highest I could do was to gasp, she heard it too, and I know she realized what she had said made me sad somehow.
I decided to ask Megan a question that will make her mute, something that would keep her brain thinking and will want her honest opinion about the subject, so in a subtle voice, I asked,
"Honeypie, please answer this question honestly, what will make you think I am a cheat or more; a womanizer, ?"
There was an imminent silence from her part, she seemed to be thinking when it because unbearable to hear, I asked in a cool tone,
"Are you there sweetheart? or are you asleep already," I inquired.
