Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2

After Ryuu left that place Levana sighed , the more she read books , the more she wanted to leave that place. She wanted to see the world herself on her own terms, not on these borrowed tales from strangers.

Many days latter....

Ryuu visited Levana with a new book on her hand but Levana rejected Ryuu's book. Ryuu studied her carefully, her face giving a way to surprise. Levana exclaimed "I don't wanna read books anymore, I want to see these things for real. You can let me out right?" Ryuu's darted between Levana and the book in her hand. She reached into het pocket, pulling out a small key. Watching the key, Levana's eye jiggled with some hope and happiness. "I always thought waiting for that special day would lead you to happiness.... but perhaps I was wrong." Ryuu said. Levana tilted her head curiously before Ryuu placed the key on her hand. "Go... find your happiness." These were the last word Levana heard from Ryuu before leaving the room. Levana's leg can't stop shaking as she ran out the room and through winding corridors of the labyrinthian confinement. She didn't stopped until a grand door stands between her and the world outside. She pushed the door with her trembling hands and soon bathed with an ocean of new sensations. She gazed up at the starry sky, looking for some semblance of guidance. Wondering around the woods she only kept thinking about the labyrinth and Ryuu, she needed to be very careful. At some distance she noticed some light, she made her way towards the dim light, soon finding herself at a cliff that looks over a small town. Then she turned her head towards the sound of a stream, deciding to take some rest and travel twomorrow. As she lied down on her back, she let her mind run while she listened to the lulling rush of the water. "I wonder what I'll find in town twomorrow.!? and what kind if people I'll meet.." Once anticipation and excitement subsided she found herself drifting off to sleep.

Huh??! What's that sound??!?

The moment she opened her eyes, she jolted upright. Shock washes her over once she realised that she was caged behind the metal bars. "Oh ho, looks like our precious cargo is awake." a bandit said. "Let me go out, I am no one's cargo." Levana said worriedly. The man who was at the head of the carriage laughingly said, "oh you are a funny one thinking we'd just let you go. With your pretty blue eyes we will make a fortune. We will be filthy rich." She grabbed onto the cage bars, trying to shake it open. But all she did was in vein. She begged to leave the labyrinth, and this is where she got herself. She was thinking these things when suddenly the carriage came to an abrupt stop which made her griped the cage bars. The cage rattled up which made it half opened. There was loud banging, followed by a flash of bright light. "Wh-what in the world??!" she wondered. As she took the moment to process what just happened, a man wielding a sword walked up before her.
