Jedediah was seated on the sofa chair, reading the scroll. Deep lines of frowns could be seen on his forehead. He put the scroll on the dome round end table and laid his head back on the headrest.
"My Lord, you look tense. Is everything good?" Anthony asked his master.
Jedediah did not answer at all. Anthony turned quiet and placed the slices of raw meat on the plate that his master used to consume once in a while. He put the plate and fork on the round end table, near the sofa, and stepped back.
Whenever Jedediah used to get tense, he usually stayed in his room for long hours without uttering any word. However, since yesterday evening, he found Lord Jed to be more active around Rosaline and her sister.
Jedediah did not like anyone to enter his garden– not even his friends, whenever they used to visit. However, he allowed the humans without getting furious or annoyed.
He had tried to know the reason behind this, but Jedediah did not want to tell him.
