"Have you seen the news lately?" Charlotte asked.
"Not at all," he grunted. "You know I've never been a fan of that shit."
"I recall," Charlotte frowned. "Apparently, I'm the prime suspect in a murder case." Jacobi remained silent for a while and Charlotte almost cut the call, thinking it had disconnected.
"Hello?" she tried. "Still there? Jac?"
"I'm listening," he grunted. "Prime suspect in a murder case."
"You didn't say anything!" Charlotte complained, already flaring up.
"Was thinking," he grunted. "Would not do this for anybody else, but because it's you…"
"You know what I want you to do?" Charlotte asked.
"Obviously," he frowned. "I'm not a coroner but I would definitely do the job perfectly. Just tell me where the body is and I'll get rid of the damn thing."
"You too," Charlotte was down. "You think I'm the killer? You think I could commit a murder."
