The pair had bid thanks and farewell to the healer, though they were given stern instructions to come back the next afternoon so she could make sure that Molaki's arm was healing. By the time they left the Tri Building, it was pitch black out, the air crisp and the ground threatening to stiffen up in the cold.
Asta shuddered, not neither of them wearing enough for the turn in the temperature, and barefoot, but the doe didn't want to worry Molaki, smiling broadly at him in the moonlight as they walked hand in hand.
For a brief moment, the wolf turned his attention to the dining hall, where there was light from torches being lit, and commotion from villagers still eating, drinking, and using the change in reign as an excuse to stay up.
"We can go there, if you want," Asta offered, but Molaki shook his head instantly.
"No, I want to go home. I want to go home so badly."
