(Authors Notes: Decided to release this chapter early)
My Wednesday is terrible in that two out of the three classes are utterly useless to me. Herbology is only useful in the sense that its important to know what things can kill you so you can avoid them.
The History of Magic classroom is another big one that fits an entire year except only the Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Gryffindor students are the only ones that attend the course taught by the ghost professor. The Slytherin students unilaterally skip coming to this class as they don't see a point to it and Snape wont punish them if they don't go.
The Class was really boring and knowing that it would be like this I had brought a book to read during the class. "Enchanting People Easily With Only Light Risk of Loss of Life" it was about the relatively safe ways you can put an enchantment on a person which is to just paint/draw with a magical substance (usually an ink made with dragons blood) the runic array onto the persons skin somewhere and then all they have to do to use the enchantment is to visualize themselves pushing magic through that array and it will activate.
This style is very expensive as you would need to constantly be reapplying the array to prevent it from breaking as a result of wear and tear. This danger of wear and tear also makes it dangerous to use as it could break mid use and cause backlash on the user. The book had an example of someone using a strength enchantment to lift something and his sweat caused the runic array to break the wizard managed to survive but he broke almost every bone in his body.
We then headed to the greenhouses for herbology. Professor Sprout was a genuinely amazing teacher who loves her job. We Spent much of the class touring the greenhouse as she showed us the her many plants she is cultivating currently and explaining their uses while giving us fun tidbits of information about each one. Most of the class was greatly engaged with the Professor but no student was more interested then Neville.
After the highlight of my day we had lunch as a group. where I asked 'so who's interested in herbology?'
Oliver spoke up first saying 'yes herbology is very interesting to me.'
'I am as well' Justin said.
'What about you Roger what interests you?' I said trying to get to know my male year mates.
'I want to play Quidditch' he said.
Being a half-blood he already knew how to fly on a broom he just couldn't wait until the flying class next week that would clear him to tryout for the house team.
Megan just looked at the boys like they were crazy she didn't want to do any of the classes that might get her dirty even though magic could make her clean instantly the thought of getting dirty was appalling.
Since we had a free period the group split up and only Lilith stayed with me we made our way to the library I made my way up to Madam Pince and asked 'did my mother leave you with a list of books that I should read?'
'Why yes she did here it is would you like help finding them?' she asked in return.
'That would be lovely thank you' I said as she walked out from behind her desk and lead me around the very confusingly laid out Hogwarts library picking books off the shelf and handing them to me who in turn passed them off on my ever helpful shadow Lilith.
Surprisingly it was only five books. After which I thanked Madam Pince and sat down at a desk with Lilith.
'You are looking at magic canines if one of them is interesting tell me and then I will look over it as well' I told Lilith the task at hand.
She nodded in understanding and began reading.
At the end of the five books we had a short list:
Three Headed dog:
-Rare
-Large Creature
-only magical trait is three heads.
-solitary
Frost-Wolves:
-Relatively Rare but Common in the Arctic
-The size of horses
-Pack animal
-Has a short range frost breath
Hellhounds:
-Rare
-Small dog size
-Pack animal
-There bite instantly cauterizes wounds
Shadow-Foxes:
-Common but hard to catch
-Insanely intelligent
-large for a fox
-Only known to work in small family groups
-Can jump between close shadows instantly
-Can hide in darkness
Aralezes:
-Rare
-Large to medium dog sized
-Has wings and can fly
-Saliva has moderate healing abilities
-Solitary/mating pairs only
When it was time for astronomy class we made our way up to the astronomy tower.
Professor Sinistra gave a spirited lecture about the importance of astronomy to the modern witch or wizard as the movement of the constellation and planet can effect magic.
After the class was over I headed to bed.
The rest of the week went by in a blur with the only things of note being the interviews.
In walked a pair of fourth year Indian twins they were tall and skinny with silky long black hair. Neither one had much development in the breasts or ass department but they still had some time to grow. Upon closer inspection one of the twins had green eyes while the other had brown eyes.
'Names?' I asked.
'Aasha Khan' the green eyed girl said.
'Shaurya Khan' said the brown eyed twin.
'Why do you want this?' I asked.
'Because this is the only way we stay together' Aasha said.
'I can't leave my sister on her own she wouldn't survive' Shaurya added.
'I see, what are your skills?' I asked
'I am good at charms and transfiguration' Shaurya said next.
'I am good at DADA and Illusions. Oh and I can talk to snakes' Aasha added.
'But your sister can't?' I said skeptically.
'We think it's probably why my eyes are green instead of brown like my sister as we are identical in every other way physically' the girl explained.
I still not believing it looked at my mother to which she responded with 'crazier things have happened as a result of magic.'
'Well I'm glad to inform you that I will be seeing you next summer and that you are to continue with your obligations to me. Congratulations' I said to the twins.
Who thanked me profusely then left.
'Talking to snakes' I said.
'It's called Parseltongue and some wizards are born with this ability. The Slytherin family supposedly are always born with this ability where in others it only shows up rarely. The ability originated in India so it's unsurprising when a witch or wizard of Indian decent has the ability' she explained.
'Well we might want to expand our selection of magical animals then to better utilize our growing set of unique talents and abilities' I said.
'Yes I agree snakes might be a useful addition to the canines as they are ambushers while the canines corral prey right to them. I'll look into it and leave another list' she said.
The next successful interview was with a third year. In walked a average sized young black witch. With straight shoulder length black hair.
'Name?' I asked.
'Roseline Chery' she said.
'Strengths and reason?' I asked.
'Dark arts and rituals Miss Lily has been teaching them to me in secret after she saw me reading about my heritage, and Miss Lily said that I should' she responded shyly.
'Heritage?' I asked a little confused as I thought she was a muggleborn.
'Yes, my mother came the British isles from Haiti. I was reading an old silly book she brought with her from Haiti about Haitian Voodoo. Turns out what I thought was just some muggle nonsense was actually a spell book about curses and rituals' she explained.
'Well how could I turn one of my mothers pupils down I'll see you next summer and you are not released from your obligations' I said to the interesting girl.
It was now Saturday morning and this means its time for a quick trip to High Street. I met up with mom and Selina after breakfast we went to moms office to floo to The Leaky Cauldron.
I was the first into Claire's shop and called out to her 'Claire I have a problem.'
'You didn't break your wand did you' She said emerging from the back room.
'Worse I brought you work to do' said with a bright smile as I gestured to Selina.
'Oh found yourself a girlfriend already, what can I do for her?' she asked.
'She needs a specialty wand about as long as she is tall and about walking stick size around, right dear?' I said turning to Selina for confirmation.
'That's what it will probably end up looking like yes but they are just like wands in that she has no control on what it looks like' Selina said.
while Selina and Claire went to go get a wood I turned to my mom and said 'Do you happen to have any Egyptian creature parts because I have a feeling that we will need them.'
'What do you think I have been getting my minions to get for me over the past couple of days' she said in a huff.
The pair came back with a large block of Palm.
'What's palm like for wand making' I asked.
'I don't know for sure but if I had to guess it is going to be a good allrounder that is quick to adjust to its user. Now unfortunately we had no luck with a core so Lily if you would' Clair said.
Selina quickly picked out a wing feather of a griffin, blood of a sphinx, and scales of a Nile siren.
'Wow that's two guard creatures' I said.
'Indeed well to crafting I go' Claire said.
When she came back she was holding a staff that was just small enough to wrap ones hand around it comfortably at the top the staff split in two diverging paths stretched between the two paths was a golden Eye of Horus that seamed to shimmer like fish scales.
Seeing the finished product Selina was ecstatic when she took hold of the staff she slammed the bottom on the floor by instinct to which sparks shot out of the bottom leaving a circular burn mark on the floor.
'Sorry' she said sheepishly.
We made our way back to Hogwarts where I finished up with the unit interviews.
A a short redheaded second year girl walked in. She was very flat chested and had her hair in dreadlocks and her eyes were milky white but she seemed to have no problem seeing.
'Name?' I asked.
'Brooke Lynch' she said.
'Strengths and reason?' I asked.
'I am very valuable as I can see using magic since I was born blind thus I need protection from experimentation as I'm just a muggleborn. I have yet to miss a spell and I think I was born a seer but my seeing ability manifested in a more literal sense' Brooke answered.
'Sounds like illusions is both easy and difficult for you' I said.
'Correct the only reason I'm passing is that I always see right through them' she said.
'Well it looks like your obligation is still in place nd I will be seeing you next summer' I said congratulating the blind girl.
'Mom can you do the interviews for the shadows, researchers and inquisition by yourself. If you come across a ninja type girl have here do my unit and keep her as mine everyone else is free to do as they like until we get to household' I asked.
'Sure thing but why do you want a stealthy girl when you have a whole group centred around stealth?' She asked.
'Because the shadows are more non combat focused. So I need a combat stealth available for sure' I explained.
I spent the rest of Saturday With Lilith deciding on the other magical animals that were good options not just snake like ones we found.

The female only near human species would be easy to bargain with as we have a large selection of male wizards that would be happy to impregnate them I thought. having made my decisions I went to my mother to inform her of my selections.
'I think you should see if you can acquire Frost-wolves, Shadow-foxes, Gorgons, Arachne, and Manticores' I told her.
'I can acquire all of those but do you want to come with me to negotiate with the Gorgons and the Arachne' she said.
'Sure, sounds like fun, when will we do that?' I asked.
'Over Christmas break probably as the closest colonies are in Greece' she answered.
Being almost time for bed I decided to have my long overdue private chat with Cindy.
I found Cindy's room easily as it was near Selina's. Cindy was in the middle of changing into her sleepwear when I pierced the beads she hadn't noticed me yet as she was turned away from me pulling a pair of panties on.
'This is how you greet me when I enter your room Cindy' I said in a commanding voice.
She whirled around in heartbeat letting go of her panties which dropped to the floor so she could stand at attention for me.
'I'm sorry Sir, it wont happen again Sir' she said with her body locked in position.
I decided to have some fun with my military like muggleborn, I walked forward and picked up her dropped panties. They were white and rather plain not caring further about them I tossed them on her bed saying 'these plain panties are not regulation why aren't you wearing the regulated styles?'
'I didn't know there was any regulation Sir but if you can please enlighten me I will make the necessary changes' she responded.
'They must be Thongs, G-strings and T-strings' I explained as I decided to go further on the blushing girl. I lifted her negligee revealing her moist slit and patch of brown fuzz.
'This is also against regulation you should know that the only hair your allowed is what is on your head' I continued making the poor girl blush.
'I am sorry Sir I will fix it. Sir I am unable to comply with the underwear regulations' she said testing me.
'You are in luck then because going without is also acceptable. Unfortunately since you have been unable to comply so far with my inspection I will have to escort you to remove your hair' I said pulling the rest of the garment off of her.
'Lets go' I ordered giving her a firm slap on the ass.
'Yes Sir' she said hurrying out of the room and heading towards the bathroom as I followed.
When we reached her years bath she proceeded to shave when she was done she walked back over to me for inspection again.
'Is this satisfactory Sir' she asked.
'Yes it is now. Expect me to occasionally check you to make sure your following my regulations' I said.
'Yes Sir' she answered as I dismissed her and headed to bed myself.
