"What a rare card," Azel exclaims, surprised.
"I've only seen common cards so far. Where did you get them, I thought they were, well, rare?"
"HAHA, I made this myself. Tell me I'm not incredible" Arzire laughs proudly into the sky.
"Yes, yes, you are incredible, thank you."
" HAHA, You finally realise how fortunate you are to have me."
*Tzz*
"Joking aside, Azel, what do you know about card grades?"
"All I know is that there are three types of cards: common, uncommon, and rare. The greater the rarity, the greater the value."
"There are still very rare ones and even legendary ones in stories, but I'm not sure if these are just stories." Arzire's voice has adapted into a more serious teaching tone.
"In any case, the rarer the card, the stronger the spell on it, the greater the card's durability, and the faster the card can recharge its mana from the world, in other words, less cooldown."
"The beast material from which a card is made, as well as your ability as a cardcaster, determine the card's grades."
"But once you start making your first cards, you'll discover out for yourself. Now is the time to discuss what makes the Cardcaster unique."
"As I explained previously, the cardcaster is a very popular class that will be welcomed everywhere. This is due to the fact that others can use our cards, albeit weakened. With a minimum of One-star, all other classes can cast our cards at 1/10 of their level."
"That means from level one to nineteen, for example, a fighter can use our level One-star cards. But he can only be attuned to a tenth of his level, in cards."
"Doesn't it mean that until we can make a Two-star magic cards, cardcasters will be weaker?" Azel inquires curiously.
"Cardcasters are generally weaker at lower levels, but keep in mind that you can attune yourself to more cards."
"Besides, your mother didn't teach you archery for nothing. Combined with the lesser illusions card, you can also defeat stronger opponents if you do it right."
"But enough of that for now; it's time to start making your first card, which begins with gathering the necessary components. When you're ready, you'll head west to hunt your first beast."
"Mom told me that you guys would get me the materials for the first card."
"The first time is always a special moment." Arzire winks at his son with a playful smile. "You should get your hands dirty yourself so that you can always remember this beautiful moment."
"we're still talking about creating cards?"
"That can be applied to a variety of situations in life. In any case, if you want to be an adventurer, you should learn how to fight. But keep it a secret from your mother!"
"I don't plan to. I wanted to fight anyway when I had my class. I'm also in great shape right now, so we can get started right away."
"Great, you know where the weak beasts are, we have warned you often enough."
"You're not coming?"
"of course not that's your hunt."
"Then I'll be on my way, see you later."
Experienced in hunting common animals with his mother, he heads west after preparing his gear. His equipment consists of a dagger, a backpack, a bow and solid clothing suitable for hunting in the forest. He always has this with him when he goes into the forest
Of course Arzire wouldn't expose his son to danger just like that and he follows Azel at some distance with his sharper senses without being noticed
Azel travels cautiously through the woods, always on the guard. He spotted tracks of various animals after 30 minutes of traveling, but no tracks of a beast. What distinguishes beasts and normal animals is that the former has levels.
There are only a few beasts in the area where Azel is located, and if there are any, they are only maximum level 5.
The territory of beasts and normal animals can be distinguished by the fact that beasts, due to their strength, leave larger and deeper scars on nature. A tree with a lot of bark scraped off, or tracks in the ground that are deeper than those of normal animals. Furthermore, in the habitats of beasts, larger animals' traces are usually missing. Because they'd just be used as fodder.
And Azel is currently in one of these areas.
'These tracks aren't as deep as others. That means it won't be too powerful, and it won't be too enormous either, given by the size . It looks like rabbit tracks, but it's a lot bigger.' He studies the traces to the best of his ability.
He cautiously advances till he spots a giant brown rabbit resting in the shadow of a tree. 'This is my chance; I can't get a better one, but that sure is a large one, about 50 cm tall?'
Carefully, but with slightly trembling hands, he draws his bow and nocks the arrow. Taking a deep breath, he aims and tries to keep his hands still for a moment.
*thump*
The moment he released the arrow, the rabbit suddenly leaped to the side dodging the sneak attack. But instead of fleeing like a normal rabbit, he charges straight at Azel.
'S**t'
He quickly fires another shot, but it misses by a by far.
With all the mass that the animal has, the rabbit kicks Azel's stomach.
[taking 40 damage]
With a taste of iron in his mouth, Azel drops his bow and pulls out his dagger , quickly stabbing the rabbit. With a squeak, the rabbit moves away from Azel and circles him, waiting for an opening to attack.
Trying to suppress the pain, Azel focuses on his opponent. He holds his dagger in one hand and pulls out a card with the other.
'I can do it I just have to surprise it and I have the perfect card for it'
He activates his card's effect and suddenly a second Azel appears just half a meter in front of the rabbit. Surprised, the rabbit attacks Azel only to jump through the illusion.
Behind the illusion is the genuine Azel, who positioned himself for that moment as soon as the card was activated. Unprotected in the air and still confused, the beast welcomes a dagger straight to the face

'It didn't go as planned, even when he was resting the rabbit was still alert.' He touches his aching stomach 'Ouch, I hope nothing is broken' Now that the adrenaline is wearing off, he feels the pain.
Azel chooses to wash his clothes and drink some water at a nearby river. Of course, he remembers to bring his prize with him. He takes a strenuous step forward. Dragging the large rabbit tiresomely.
Arzire, who was hidden at a distance of 20 metres, kept an eye on everything. ' Thank god everything went well i almost intervened but good that he's having this experience now that will only make him stronger than a one-hit kill.'
Along the way, Azel decides to check his status and assign the points.
