As I walk back inside the shop I take a beer and Justin also takes one while I hand him a few energy pills and he takes them both. We then drink in silence until a group of hooded figures walk inside and I start to examine them and find that there's currently magical activity.
One of them walks to the counter and hands me a slip of paper while I leave I slip a storage ring with some weapons inside Justin's hand. I then go back to kitchen and start cooking and I find a message from Justin.
'Why give me the weapons'
'Why do you think dumbass, try to confront them or something'
I then receive a message from my computer.
'While only 7 went inside the store, there at least 150 people in the area, and they aren't moving'
I find the computer added Justin and everyone else to the chat.
'Seems someone wants to pay a visit to the reaper, if your not here or confident in your strength do not come over until given a go ahead'
'I though they called you wingless angel?'
'Fuck off Marcia, I refuse to use that name'
I then link my cyborg system to all the hidden cameras around the store and monitor as Justin tries to confront one of them uses some light magic under their cloak but aside from that nothing major happens.
I finish the food and I take out to them before returning behind the counter when a few women walk up to the counter and they just stand there for a few seconds, though trying to follow through with my acting I start the conversation.
"Can I help you?"
"Have you seen a glowing child around here?"
"People don't glow, so no. Is there anything else you need aside from directions to the insane asylum?"
"Then did a child come in here?"
"We have a privacy policy you know. Now would like something else?"
"Don't fuck with me, the cam footage showed you going outside and taking in a child."
"My cam footage would like to disagree. If you don't need anything please have you and your cult leave immediately." They don't seem to be a fan of the word cult judging by the frown on her face.
"Show us the cam footage."
"Ma'am please stop making unreasonable demands."
"Just show me th-" She's then cut off by a call from my phone and I look at her before looking back to the phone.
"I'll be one minute. We can finish this then." I then walk inside the room with my supercomputer and find a bunch of mini windows and I download the information while making a fake conversation in case someone is listening.
I then walk back outside with all the information, and it turns they were a cult(?) but they are also authorized by the government. Another thing is the fact there all women and called the covenant. Another interesting thing is the fact they are going to sacrifice the child to a fucking god.
I upload this information while heading back outside and I find Justin looking at the now posted information on his phone while the computer checking on mom and dad, I start talking again.
"How can I help you?"
"Tell me where the child is."
"Ma'am if you go take a right at the nearest intersection and keep walking for a kilometer I think you might find your destination." I then see one of the cultists pull out a phone and put in the location on a maps app.
They then hand her the phone and she then shows it to me and it shows the Enix insane asylum. Justin chuckles a bit at that while she looks quite pissed, and rightfully so because I've used that joke twice.
"Are you done making a fool of me?"
"Ma'am your really doing that yourself. Is there anything food related I could help you with?" She then pulls out a whip and Justin looks flabbergasted while I'm making sure to buy some insurance.
"Tell me what I want to know and we can have a little fun." I just look at her blankly before looking at Justin and back to her.
"Ma'am I have someone I love and that's not my kink." She then acts seductively while Justin and I keep straight faces. She then gets closer to my ear but I don't flinch.
"Is she really better than me?"
"Yes, she's beautiful and not batshit insane."
"You think I'm insane?" She looks confused at this.
"Ma'am It's a fucking Wednesday at 3 pm and you are trying to get me to tell you about a non-existent glowing child by seducing me or threating me. I haven't decided what this is yet." Justin just looks at me with pity while she just looks at me funny.
"The shop owners on the road said you took in a glowing child, how do you deny this?"
"They probably have a grudge against me because I beat the shit out of probably their goons when they tried to take this place down."
"They had footage." The computer has me informed that cameras can only be found in my shop.
"Ma'am this is the only place in this shithole that could afford cameras."
"Alright then I'll take your word for it, but are you sure you don't want to have some fun?"
"Ma'am please leave. Your scaring away the other customers and our business isn't doing the greatest currently."
"It's a shame you know to much, if had just become my toy you could have lived." She then casts a light spell blinding everyone aside from me and she then pulls a gun out on me.
"Last chance pretty boy."
"Right, Ma'am before you leave I forgot to tell you that one a special bonus for being the 100th person to enter!"
"And what could that be?"
"You get to try our new food early."
"What's it called?" I then pull out my guns and Justin follows suit and shoots a few of the witches in the neck and heart while I kill the rest.
"Witches' Brain."
