Ryan thought as he sat in the carriage provided by his first customer, he was thinking about buying a large two story house and turning the first floor entirely into a forge except a small shop front to sell from, then he'd have multiple bedrooms, a kitchen/dining room and a bathroom.
He'd then hire people who'd live in the rooms and he'd live in a room himself. He then felt the carriage stop so he turned around and got out behind his dad
He walked in to smell something delicious so he headed upstairs and into the kitchen where he saw a simple meal of steak and salad but it still looked amazing, he then remembered he'd have to hire a cook.
After helping set the table, he as well as his mother and father sat down and Ryan spoke "I'm going to move out"
His mother looked shocked "Where are you going to live, you're only twelve"
Ryan showed his earnings causing extreme shock, after all a single gold coin could buy the house they were living in now "I'm sure I'll be fine"
His mum looked very said "When are you leaving?"
"Tomorrow at dawn"
"I'll help you pack"
They then continued to eat dinner, when they were finished both Ryan and his mother began packing up his stuff, all he had were just clothes that all were put in a wooden box.
His mother left and he then went to sleep for the night, he really didn't feel any attachment to this place so he was perfectly fine.
He then woke up the following morning and left, he left the box here until he bought a house, he eventually found what was basically a medieval real estate company and entered.
A lady in a maid outfit obviously designed to show all curves on her body came up to him "How could we be of service to you today?"
"I'd like to purchase a house, my conditions are very large and two story"
She smiled and said "Right this way"
He was taken into a small room with a wooden desk and was told about several houses before he found the one he wanted, this house was very expensive apparently, a platinum coin for the house but it was five bedroom, two story and had multiple bathrooms.
He paid the price and was told how to get there, he went to begin walking there when he heard a voice "At such a young age you'll need some help around the house, step inside and you won't be dissatisfied"
Ryan decided to listen to the short man that said this and entered, what met him was a large room full of cages, inside them were many human like creatures as well as some actual humans and the majority were female.
He realised this was a slave trader but he stayed "I need one that can cook, two attendants and two that can work as blacksmiths"
He was first taken to a cage with two girls with pointed ears "These are elves, very good with their hands and they'll definitely be good attendants, two gold coins for both" Ryan bought them and was taken to another cage with an adult lady who was obviously endowed "She was a three star chef before we... scouted her, 3 gold coins"
Ryan then spoke "The next two must be able to use runes preferably multiple runes"
"I have just the thing" He guided Ryan to a cage with two hairy men that were abnormally tall "These two are another pair of siblings, they are hybrids of the giant and dwarves races and all dwarves can use two runes per item, unfortunately they are extremely rare and I'm selling them for 15 Gold coins"
"That is okay" Ryan handed two gold bars
"Now we will forge the master-slave contract" He pulled out knife and pulled out a sheet with a symbol "This won't hurt that bad"
He stabbed it into Ryan's arm and began copying the pattern, it obviously had burning enchantment because it was scarred behind it until it was done, then he engraved another symbol in each person and dropped Ryan's blood on it causing both Ryan's and the slaves symbols to glow "The contract is made, it can't be broken and no slave can defy and command you make"
Ryan nodded before turning to his new slaves "Follow me" All of them followed him whether they wanted to or not, the two twin girls looked extremely timid but they really couldn't resist.
He then found his new house and looked around, at the front of the house there was a room that he planned to use as a shopfront, behind that there was a massive living room that would obviously become the forge, in the corner there were stairs that Ryan climbed with his slaves still following.
There were five rooms, four normal and one master. He had the two dwarf/giants share a room and he had the elf girls share a room, he let the chef lady have her own room and he took the master bedroom so there was one spare, luckily all rooms were completely furnished with items completely covered with durability runes.
All he had to do now was get clothes for his slaves and he needed to go pick up his own clothes.
He decided not to wait, he first measured all their sizes making the elf girls really uncomfortable.
He then went out and bought several clothes in each size, then wondered whether he should go straight to parent's house but he decided against it to not raise suspicion. He gave each person their clothes and told them to pack them away.
He then headed out again back to his parent's house where he quickly got the box and left without them knowing he was there, he'd definitely gotten his 10,000 steps by the time he walked back to his house.
He really could not be bothered to go out and buy the equipment so he laid down and shut his eyelids.
