As the Voice said, Jayden got out of the door and like before a light blinded him and he was sucked into some kind of vortex and in just a few seconds he was dropped over a platform. When he opened his eyes he saw many people around him that looked similar to him. Just like the white room, there was an Orb here in the middle of the huge platform, everyone around him looked a little different from humans, and some even looked like animals. However, there were a few that looked like humans so he didn't worry.
[ Welcome Challengers, Now line up and one by one touch the orbs in the corner of the platform, in your status Window, you will be sent the trial invitations. Accept whatever you like.]
The voice said and disappeared.
There were several small orbs in the corner of the round platform, and there were more than 1000s people around him.
One by one everyone touched the orb and left, soon some people around him started to get some notifications, Jayden could tell from their expressions. He did not understand the language so he took his time when he saw an opening he went to one of the orbs and placed his hand.
[ Registration successful. You will shortly receive some invitations please leave the platform and sit somewhere comfortably.]
Jayden went to one of the places where people can sit, he sat down and waited, after about ten minutes he received several invitations. Almost everyone was thinking about which trial they should select, He can not ask others about what type of trials they got, it would not be good to declare himself as an F rank.
There were some trials such as The Trial Of Blood, The Trial Of Pain, The Trial Of Mind, etc, many E ranks trials were on the display. It seems the higher being truly wanted to hear his soul even if it's weak, Jayden was easy prey for them.
His Attention went towards one of the Trials named The Trial Of Luck, the description was smaller than the others but briefed everything that he wanted to know, almost every trial had hidden the rewards, but it hadn't, it showed the reward to be given as per the performance.
It was a Frank trial, unlike other Trials whose rank was above Jayden's rank. He decided to play it safe for his first trial. As things are uncertain he thought that a performance-based trial is the best choice for him. He accepted the trial, not thinking much about it. Soon he saw a message showing that the trial will begin in one minute.
It was sudden but fine, he waited for the countdown to finish, ...3,2,1.
Light surrounded his body and he was one of the first people to be transported for their trial. Like last time it was the feeling of being sucked into a vortex.
He was dropped inside a cave,
" Human, You have accepted my trial. I am one of the Goddess Of Fate Daliaris."
" Ah, Hello, My name is Jayden BrenSol." Jayden Greeted the person.
" Human, let us begin the Trial." The Voice of the Goddess said. " Your First trial is choosing among these paths, one path leads you to a treasure, one path will lead you to fight against a D rank beast, one leads you to treasure and a beast, and the remaining lead you to nothing but death."
Jayden saw 6 different caves in front of him, he held his spear tightly. He had read the description and it clearly explained that the chances of death are high but it was almost written in every quest.
He didn't think much and walked into one of the caves, walking through the cave he didn't find anything and just kept on walking for three hours. He finally reached the end heard the sound of an animal growling and moved forward with his spear in his hand. Because he was in a tunnel he was regretting his choice of weapon. A spear is mostly useless because of its length. Soon he reached the end of the tunnel, one beast was standing in the middle and was ready to fight.
It was a gryphon or something like that, it had the face of a bird and a body that belonged to a lion, it looked like it wanted to fly but can not because of being trapped inside here.
" Shrrrrieeek!!" The gryphon shrieked when Jayden entered the fighting area.
Jayden was careful but the beast rushed, he dodged the attack somehow and then pierced from the side in one of his legs. He had already planned that he will restrain its movements as much as he can. The beast seems to have more problems fighting in this closed environment than himself. Jayden moved was not an expert but he was doing everything he can.
" BLIND" He shouted and a flash of light blinded the gryphon, he continued to pierce the legs of the gryphon and drives him to a certain corner. The Gryphon was not too injured to even move.
He cornered the gryphon now it wasn't able to move anywhere and the spear was pointed at him. Jayden was panting from this because he gave his everything to implement his battle plan.
He now realises that the goddess hadn't mentioned the clear conditions for the trial, it was obvious that to clear the trial one had to kill a monster. At least that's what happens in games, but in front of him was the injured gryphon, who couldn't fly and fight properly. Jayden saw the tears in his eyes, he understood the pain of gryphon, it was a D rank beast but because of being unable to fight in an open environment, he wasn't able to win.
Jayden slowly backs away, the gryphon had a slight reaction to his actions slowly he started to walk back but kept his weapon pointed at the gryphon. He walks to the entrance, the gryphon now understood that his life has been spared. Jayden enters the tunnel from where he came. He was going to go back to the starting point and choose another tunnel.
But he wasn't able to enter the tunnel and pushed outward. He fell just one meter ahead of the gryphon and his life flashed before his eyes, thinking that the gryphon would kill him now. He stood up watching the gryphon who did not look like it wanted to fight.
" Ha! Thank you for not killing me." Jayden sighed in relief and stood up. But he was confused about how the trial will be completed. Just when he was thinking this, the goddess's voice came.
" You have cleared the first trial."
" Woah! Really."
" Yes, and in a very noble manner. I commend you."
" So what's the second trial."
" There is no second trial for today. The F rank trial was the first, your rank is not high enough to take the next challenge and as per the rules I can not force you."
" Will I get the reward?"
" Yes."
" Can I get some health potion?"
" You can buy a lot of them outside in the city. But if you want I can give you five as a side reward."
" Wow, thank you miss goddess, you are very generous."
" Now let's talk about the rewards."
" I will give you that Gryphon, these weapons that belonged to the other challengers who failed, a storage space and my blessing."
The goddess said as various weapons started to appear in front of him, most of them were covered in blood.

" Check your status, I have given you storage space, you can store your rewards there."
