Dallas arrived at the border after sunset, already acutely feeling his separation from Bree.
They hadn’t been apart for more than a few hours since he had brought her back to his palace, but now they were going to be a pretty far distance away from each other until this conflict had been resolved, and Dallas wasn’t sure how to handle it.
Still, what mattered was that Bree was safe, and that Dallas was going to make sure that Kreos never bothered them again.
He sped into the camp, leading the other warriors in his pack. They all shifted back to their human form, gathering in a cluster amongst the few white tents that had already been set up.
The patrol had received some backup, and Dallas had brought the rest, ready to defend the border from whoever they needed to.
“Begin setting up camp!” Dallas barked. The warrior wolves obeyed, dividing into smaller groups in order to set things up.
