The spacious roads were broad enough to accommodate twelve carriages abreast, with buildings of varying heights on either side. The shorter buildings measured seven or eight meters, while the taller ones reached only twenty to thirty meters, but they were all impressively constructed. Some buildings were centered around ancient, robust trees; some resembled giant beasts with gaping jaws; others were pagodas and palaces.
An Jianyou was truly astounded.
It was no wonder this city was the most prosperous within the Shattered Sea region—it held so many things she had never seen before.
