Attending this funeral.
To commemorate the warriors who sacrificed themselves in the war to defend Blue Star.
There were Flame Warrior soldiers, as well as soldiers from various countries.
And the number was not small.
From the names etched on the monument, one could still sense the cruelty of the war. Blue Star had emerged victorious, but the number of fallen warriors was significant nonetheless. What if Blue Star had only managed a Pyrrhic victory, or had even lost the war?
It would have been just the lightest touch upon the suffering of living beings.
Many experts were aware of the existence of the Oases and understood the difficulty of preserving the seeds of civilization there. They had heard of the numerous tragedies during the early development stages and no one wanted Blue Star to follow in their footsteps, surviving with less than one in ten million of its population.
The warriors stood solemnly.
The warriors firmed up their beliefs.
