At the same time, in the distant White Bear Country, and the not-so-distant Wavemist Nation, both were using their respective mysterious powers to fend off the disaster of the gates to the Ghastly Realm.
The Awakeners of White Bear Country bellowed "Ula" as they fought with ferocity far exceeding that seen in Sunset Country.
At one point, they were even seen violently pounding on a gigantic Mysterious Evil.
Wavemist Nation was relatively weaker, and the students returning from studying abroad couldn't turn the tide—the potions they had bought were too few, and Torchfire Town's branch had no choice but to dispatch additional forces, sending several standard teams to assist Wavemist Nation's defense efforts.
And in countless other places, both in public and in the shadows, the battles were even more fierce.
The gates to the Ghastly Realm had their strengths and weaknesses, with some opening early and others late.
