The most central department of the entire town was the patrol team, responsible for maintaining the town's order and eliminating the Mysterious Evil that lurked beneath reality.
The members of the patrol team included both Awakeners and regular people. Many of them were refugees who had migrated from surrounding areas and were also selected from among the townspeople.
They all took pride in their identity as members of the patrol team, and they were dedicated to the justice in their hearts, with admirable character.
In addition to patrolling in and around Torchfire Town, their daily routine involved training with the town's leader, Lord Roland.
Ordinary people aspired to the day they could awaken, as only by awakening could they truly confront Mysterious Evil.
Awakeners, too, hoped to become stronger.
