Andini ordered two warm Cheese Quiches, cheese cake, one of Andini's favorite foods at that place, a tall glass of Hot Coffee and a regular size glass of Hazelnut Chocolate. Andini took out a debit card from her wallet and gave it to the cashier. After swiping the debit card at the payment machine, not long after, the order was ready to be presented in front of her.
Andini returned to her seat with her order. As she walked, Michele signaled with her eyes and lips moving "Nine o'clock," Andini frowned, confused but obeyed Michele's orders. And when Andini turned her head, the red-haired man smiled at her. Andini walked quickly toward Michele.
Andini put all her orders on the table.
"Hot Coffee ... and … Hot Hazelnut Chocolate," Michele looked at the dish and then looked at Andini.
"You really never change, Hot Hazelnut Chocolate?" Michele suppressed her gaze, Andini just shrugged. Grabbing a drink glass and sipping it gently. Then pinch the still warm Cheese Quiches and take a bite. Michele didn't want to be left behind, she put a little sugar and cream into her drink. And also devour Cheese Quiches by adding chili sauce on top.
"Andin, you should try another drink. Hot Coffee for example?" Michele raised her glass with a mouth full of food.
"I can't drink it, you know, I can't be friends with Coffee." Answer Andini.
"Okay, how are you, Miss Andin?" Michele glanced coquettishly at Andini.
"As you can see." Andini sat up straight and slightly puffed out her chest. Michele smiled as she reached for her drink after finishing her last piece of Cheese Quiches.
"How about you?" Andini asked back.
Michele was silent for a moment, now her face changed, she put down her drink, took a breath and then stared out the glass. She sighed again looking at Andini with a smile but this time it was different from the smile earlier. Andini looked at Michele carefully.
"That's why I want to meet you, Andini." Michele grabbed her bag which she put behind her body. Opening the zipper on the front of the famous branded bag can be seen from the logo affixed to the front of the light brown leather bag.
"Hermes" Michele took something, a brown envelope and gave it to Andini, "Here read it" Andini took it and opened the brown envelope and took out the contents. Andini opened a white folder and seriously read sheet by sheet. Andini's facial expression was flat, occasionally raising her right eyebrow and he glanced at Michele again reading the document and took a breath.
"Hmmm …" was all that was now coming out of Andini's mouth as she was still reading.
Michele sat back looking at Andini waiting patiently, holding her hands and occasionally touching her cheeks, cold. She then took another sip of her drink.
"Chele, I didn't know you were going through this," Andini looked at Michele, but this time her gaze changed, feeling sorry and a million questions in her mind. Andini went back to reading the document.
"Din, can you help me?" Michele put down her drink and leaned close to Andini, grabbed Andini's arm, Michele's face was sad now. Andini felt the touch of Michele's hand cold, very cold.
"Chele, how long have you been in this business?" asked Andini, putting the document on the table, shifting her glass of drink.
"One year." she replied.
"Your father, how are you?"
"You know Din, after I married Mas Danang, I never had any contact with my extended family," Michele looked down, Andini took Michele's hand and held it tightly.
"I'll try to help you as best I can. How much is the profit from this business? Andini reached for her glass again, took a sip.
"I counted it in detail and believed hundreds of millions in a month, for sure!" Michele confidently answered.
"You know Andin, this project is definitely very promising. With the number of Indonesians who are consumptive and they have a fever with Asian fashion styles, especially the Korean style, I'm sure it will be very profitable." Michele continued this time enthusiastically. Andini smiled seeing her best friend, well Andini knew Michele very well since she was in high school.
They went to the same school and met again at the same university in Bandung. Michele was born into a family of businessmen, Prabowo Sutedja.
Who doesn't know that name, the owner of the largest retail company in Indonesia, in fact, in almost every city, there are supermarkets owned by her family, and one of them is near this restaurant. And if at this time Michele asked her for help, it meant that her best friend was indeed in a difficult period.
