They walked side by side, with each lost in their own thoughts, through the guests and out of the hall. It was dark and the candles and torches casted dark shadows and glowed throughout the long winding corridors in the castle.
The only sounds heard then, were their footsteps as they headed towards what would be Princess Mugda's new quarters. Unlike Ant Kingdom, Mugda had noticed that all the workers and servants in the castle were dressed the same so she could not tell who belonged to which mistress or master.
Also, she had heard that she was to be assigned a wing in the castle. She had initially felt dissatisfied with that arrangement. But she chastised herself quietly because Ant Kingdom was a bigger and well-established land than Fireland and she told herself to stop expecting things to be similar or even same.
