Queen May and her attendants rushed through the long winding corridors of the palace towards the throne room. They could see workers now getting their bearings as where they had been thrown off or sought something to hang on to after the last phenomena. They had no time to give out instructions or even check on them.
We can call it maternal instinct because her mind only had one word, "son!" She almost practically run through to the throne room and only slowing down when it came in sight.
"My Queen, please slow down lest you get hurt!" Alba called out from behind her, but she did not pay heed to anything and anyone but the apprehension she felt in her heart.
