Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

He was used to waking up to an alarm clock. It was what woke him up every morning because if his mother did, he would never get to hear the end of it. He wasn't a bad child; he just like his sleep. Even being a triplet, he still slept the most.

Usually Rhyn Easley was left alone. He had two brothers. His older brother Rhys was three minutes older than him. He was the party boy who played sports and was a member of a fraternity. He dated frequently but someone managed to keep his grades up.

Rhyd Easley was the smart one. He was the youngest of the three having been born three minutes after Rhyn. he was an engineering student and was at the top of his class. Being the baby, he was able to get away with things. Rhys never was despite only being six minutes younger. He got what he wanted, the newest addition sitting in the driveway.

Rhyn was the typical middle child. He wasn't necessarily overlooked, but he didn't get what he wanted like Rhyd and he wasn't a jock like Rhys. he was happy to be quiet and work on his assignments without too much interference from extracurricular activities. He liked his quiet life.

He reached for his phone to turn off the alarm. If he remembered correctly, it was Saturday and he had to finish a project by Monday. He'd set an alarm to make sure he got up.

But he couldn't find his phone. He lifted the blanket to see if it had slid down in the bed. Sometimes he slept on it. It would always be by his hip, and he'd have an interesting indention on his skin.

He didn't find it, but the alarm stopped bleating so he wasn't concerned. He settled down in the bed again, pulling the blanket up to his chin. A few more minutes wouldn't kill him.

Rhyn's eyes snapped open. Why was he naked? He pulledthe blanket up again, noticing it was true. The soft sheets brushed against his bare flesh, cool air sending goosebumps prickling along his body. Where were his clothes? Where was he?

He looked up and around the room. The bright light of the bathroom made his head hurt. Some bits and pieces came flooding back. Rhys had invited him out. He'd claimed it was because they rarely saw each other, but he'd just needed an excuse to go to the party.

They were legal adults, but their parents had a strict no alcohol policy at home. If they wanted to have a drink, they had to go out with friends or to a party. Rhyn did have a few drinks every so often, but he didn't particularly like to. It was just a social thing or to take the edge off something emotional.

Rhys had stayed close to him, but several of his friends had given Rhyn a drink. Not wanting to be rude, Rhyn had taken them and had held on to them until he could trade them for water. Somewhere between receiving them and picking it back up after going to the bathroom, he remembered drinking something. It was easy to pick up someone else's drink. All the cups looked the same.

Rhyn didn't usually get hung over. He had a high alcohol tolerance, but whatever he'd drank the night before had put him on his ass. So badly in fact he couldn't remember anything.

A sleepy, deep sigh came from his left. Rhyn tried to roll over, but a heavy arm kept him from doing so. He wasn't a small guy, standing just over six feet, but whoever this was could easily hold him down.

After a few minutes, he was finally able to sit up. Rhyn slapped a hand over his mouth to keep from yelling out. This could not be happening. Why the hell was he in bed by - no! With! - with his brother's best friend?!

Myles Dane was Rhys's best friend. They'd met on their first day on campus and had been nearly inseparable ever since. Myles was captain of the university basketball team. He was handsome and funny, and he attracted every girl he came in contact with and even those he didn't. Every time Rhyn saw him, he was surrounded by people. Not just girls, but people in general.

What had happened for Rhyn to end up in bed with him? He couldn't remember what had happened between going to the bathroom and now. Why hadn't Rhys taken him home when he saw his younger brother was drunker than he'd ever been?

Rhyn tried to get up, but Myles pulled him closer. Panicking, he tried not to hit the other man. He could see nail marks in his skin. Did they do what he thought they did? Gently, he tipped Myles's head back and looked at his mouth. His lips were swollen and chapped. Rhyn felt his own, and they matched Myles's. So they kissed and touched a little. That wasn't so bad.

Myles rolled over, freeing Rhyn completely. The conscious man slipped out of the bed and began gathering his clothes. He gently and quietly put them on, ignoring any pain that bubbled up as he moved. He found his phone and slipped out of the bedroom.

No one was awake as Rhyn crept down the stairs. The place was a mess, as would any house be after a massive party. Rhyn tiptoed over the clutter and managed to get to the door. He turned the deadbolt, wincing as it clicked louder than he'd thought it would. He could feel the weat roll down his back as he finally left the house.

He thought about calling Rhys, but he wasn't sure when his brother had left. He could be passed out in a drunken stupor by now. Rhyn would have to go home on his own. Luckily, it was only a mile from the frat house. He would just walk.

He was glad he'd brought a jacket the night before. It was a cool morning. The sun climbed higher in the sky, but the temperature remained the same. Fall was Rhyn's favorite season. He only needed a light jacket at night while the days were pleasantly warm. It made it easier to walk home. Some would call it the walk of shame, but Rhyn wasn't completely sure if it actually happened.

He wasn't stupid. He understood how it worked, but he hadn't stayed around long enough to ask questions. Though he hadn't been looking for them, he'd seen an empty condom wrapper laying haphazardly by the garbage can. He hadn't been relieved or shocked. He had just wanted to go home. He wanted to clean up and go to bed. He could forgo studying one day.

Rhyn made it home. He saw Rhys's car in the driveway as well as his, his younger brother's, and his parents' two cars. So his brother had made it home? Why hadn't he figured out Rhyn was with him or back?

He went in the backyard gate and in the house through the side door. His mother was at the kitchen sink rinsing vegetables. She would undoubtedly put them in the crock pot with some sort of meat. Saturdays were her busiest days at the yoga studio so she always made something she could put on to slow cook all day.

Rhyn saw Rhys sitting at the island chattering away. From the looks of it, he hadn't slept. He was probably regaling their mother with tales of his newest girl crush. He bounced through girls as fast as Rhyn did laundry, which was once a week.

Convinced they hadn't seen him, Rhyn hightailed it up the stairs straight to his room. He was barely in the door before he was stripping. He wlkaed into his bathroom and threw his clothes in the hamper. Not even bothering to check the temperature, he got in the shower while the water scorched his back.

How the hell had this happened? He hadn't even wanted to go, but Rhys had begged. Rhys never begged so Rhyn had given in. He didn't even know Myles and yet…

Reaching behind him, Rhyn felt between his butt cheeks. Sure enough, the hidden ring of muscles was swollen and tender. Sighing, he banged his head against the shower stall. He was humiliated. Not because it'd been with a man, but because he'd been too drunk to even remember if he'd liked it or not.

Up until now, he'd dated women but had also found some men attractive. He had never said anything to those men, but he wasn't opposed to exploring his options. Nothing had come of it until now, and he hadn't even been looking at this particular guy.

Rhyn was drained by the time the water ran cold. He shut off the taps and grabbed a fluffy towel. Once he was dry, he grabbed a pair of boxers and slipped them on. He was dead tired by now. His headche had subsided but his body hurt. If this was how it was going to be every time, he'd rather not do it again.

By the time his head hit the pillow, Rhyn was asleep. But his dreams were plagued with images he didn't remember. He could feel throbbing in his rear as if something were inside him.

One thing he did remember, and it was clear as day. He remembered Myles Dane's face above him.
