[3rd POV]
Two Months Later...
"Hospital."
That was the latest clue given to the heroes; additionally, with the investigation with Pro-Hero Hawks, the Committee finally grasps the plan of the Paranormal Liberation Front. The villain planned to attack significant cities by posing as terrorists. Then the full force of the Paranormal Liberation Front would sweep in and provide the citizens with support items to bring them to their cause, ending the hero society once and for all.
Hawks revealed that the Paranormal Liberation Front was currently staying at the Gungan Mountain Villa, housing multiple dangerous members such as Re Destro and Gigantomachia.
The subordinate of Naomasa, a detective in the police force, also discovered that Doctor Kyudai Garaki, the Quirkless founder of Jaku General Hospital, an advocate of Quirk-based healthcare and a renowned philanthropist, was the mastermind behind the creatures known as Nomu.
The Hero Committee planned to raid both locations simultaneously, using the majority of the heroes available. Red Crow will lead the attack on the Villa, while Endeavour will lead the attack on the hospital. This will be a dangerous operation as they don't want another incident, such as the Kamino Ward or Hosu Incident.
[Kaede POV]
Everything went well as our friends and I entered our second year of UA. We were all pretty sad that the Third Years would be graduating; the one who was the most acting out was Nejire herself as she was hugging one of the support beams of the school, not wanting to leave.
It took a while, but Tagata managed to pry Nejire away and drag her out. He then gave our class one last farewell and told us to continue strengthening and be the pillar of society when we became Pro-heroes ourselves.
Our class thought that we would have an everyday school life. Unfortunately, that won't be the case. All of a sudden we were all surprised to discover that we were going to the same location for our hero internship. However, some of my friends were informed to go somewhere else, but the rest of us were gathering at the edge of the border of Jaku City. Other small-time heroes were also here, and I could tell they're confused as we were.
Burnin, a sidekick of Endeavour, was standing on a small hill, overlooking all of us: "Everyone, we will be evacuating the people living in the city!" she shouted.
"Mrs. Burnin, may I ask the reason for this sudden evacuation," I asked with a worried tone.
Burnin glanced at me: "The heroes will be conducting a raid on the city, which may result in many casualties. But, if we do our job correctly, deaths can be avoided!"
Hearing this, we all frowned, now knowing the consequences of failing. Someone suddenly held my hand. I turned my head to see Shoto smiling at me: "We won't fail." He said with confidence.
I smiled back as his words reassured me that everything would be okay: "Thanks," I muttered gratefully. Shoto smiled as Burnin announced the evacuation would start now as we dashed into the city.
30 minutes later...
"Everyone, please go this way!" I yelled to the group of citizens evacuating the city.
They were all confused and worried about the sudden evacuation; thankfully, we efficiently calmed them down as the evacuation process was smooth. However, that's what I wish really happens.
Suddenly, the ground rumbled and quaked, and we all lose our footing to the massive earthquakes and fell to our knees. I heard the sound of screaming all around me and I activated my Sharingan to get a clearer view.
My legs shook, and my face turned paled: "What's wrong?" Iida asked with concern.
"The... The city was slowly decaying away...." I muttered in disbelief.
My friends were also in shock, and the decay started to travel toward us quickly, destroying everything in its path. Anything that touches the ground withered into pure nothingness and Shoto tried to stop the decay with his ice, but it barely worked.
"Everyone retreat!" Burnin shouted.
We all immediately start to run as fast as we can. I summoned my Susanoo and started carrying as many civilians as possible; all my friends were doing something similar, and we bolted to the evacuation zone.
[3rd POV]
Burnin desperately tried to contact the heroes that were raiding the Jaku Hospital. Endeavour responded through the radio, telling the hero that he was currently engaging in a fierce battle with Tomura.
Endeavour then asked about One For All, which Tomura kept splurting out during the fight. Izuku and Katsuki overheard the mention of One For All, and the young boy's stomach started to churn from the nervousness.
As Burnin listened to Endeavour, her expression turned for the worst: "Tomura was coming this way!" She yelled in panic.
All the students paled, and Izuku clenched his teeth: 'He must be coming for me....' Izuku thought.
Izuku nodded at Katsuki, who in return clicked his teeth. The green-haired hero then contacted Endeavour, telling him that he would lead Tomura away. Before Endeavour could say anything, Izuku cut off the radio communication, and without warning, the two dash off, separating from the group.
At the Gunga Mountain Villa...
"What's the situation?" Itachi asked as he held the slumped figure of Re-Destro.
"Things were going as expected; however, we still can't find Gigantomachia," Shisui answered.
Itachi frowned, and suddenly, a significant earthquake caught the heroes off guard: "What..."
The villa exploded as Gigantomachia burst out, roaring and unleashing devastation in his wake. Itachi cursed. Things were going downhill...
