Chapter 72 - Chapter 71: School Festival!

[Kaede POV]

Today's Friday and I finally returned to class.

Many days have passed ever since Chisaki attacked. I had to rest in the UA Infirmary for a couple of days; using the complete form of Susanoo was way more taxing than using the Skeletal form of Susanoo. Thankfully, the pain was much more bearable than maniefesting the complet Susanoo the first time. But how can I really describe it?

Well do you know the feeling of the first time working out and you hurt all over the next day? Well, it's like that but times one million! I may be exaggerating a little, but you get the idea! I could barely move my body, and it took me a lot of energy to talk!

My classmates were very worried, and all visited me; they relaxed, knowing that my condition was only temporary and I would recover soon. My friends then joked about how much of a disaster it was when I was not there to help cook dinner.

To my surprise, Shoto also visited a couple of times alone; him being here really cheered me up. I hope I didn't act strangely during his visits...

What are you thinking, Kaede! Snap out of it! Begone with those thoughts!

Where was I? Oh yeah, during my hospitalisation, many events had transpired: Eri had officially become a member of my family. She was at first a bit shy meeting mom and dad, but that soon changed as my parents showered her with affection.

Itachi-onii-chan was hesitant and awkward, but his big brother instinct took over and now he constantly dotes on her. However, I will always be Eri's favourite sibling!

Onii-chan has taken it upon himself to help her manage her quirk, her power resides in her horn, and after the battle, it has shrunken considerably but recently Eri's horn was growing again. Turns out, Eri's quirk wouldn't have an effect if your body were coated with Chakra. With onii-chan's training, Eri can turn sushi back into a fish which was pretty cool.

Eri also regularly visits the Height's Alliance dorm every Saturday, and I introduced her to my friends. They all acted friendly around Eri and made her feel welcomed. Lastly, Itachi-onii-chan, with some other heroes, also managed to capture Kuroigiri, a crucial member of The League of Villains, which was essential to ending that evil group.

Enough of the events!

Currently, Mina was showing Ochako and me dance moves she learned recently. Ochako and I were impressed and applauded once she finished. Aizawa-sensei soon arrived and told us to return to our seats. He announced that UA would be having a school festival.

Our class must participate and create a program we will perform during the festival. Everyone was stoked and started voicing ideas. Iida and I were summoned to the front of the classroom and wrote down suggestions on the board.

Their ideas were excellent, such as Shoto's Cold Soba Shop, Mina's dancing performance, Ochako's Mochi Shop, Midoriya's Hero Trivia, etc. In the end, none of us can decide on what to do. Aizawa-sensei warned us that if we don't finish choosing by the following Monday, we will be doing a public lecture, which sounds horrible.

We unitedly agreed that we would sit together on Saturday and finalise what we would be doing for the festival.

Saturday...

We all sat at the lounge in our Height Alliance Dorm. We created a list containing what we wanted to do for the school festival. Eri was also here, sitting next to me, but she was off in her world drawing in a colouring book.

"Ah, what to choose! All these ideas were good!" Kaminari whined and ruffled his hair.

"Yeah, at this rate, we will be doing public lectures for our school festival event," Midoriya said while sighing hopelessly.

"School Festival?" Eri looked up from her book and asked.

"School festival was an occasion that classes host lots of events on display where people can enjoy themselves while tasting delicious food," I explained while patting her head.

Her ears perked up when she heard delicious food: "Wow, can I come?!" She said with excitement.

I giggled: "Of course, but we're having trouble picking what we should do." I replied.

Eri tilted her head and glanced at the piece of paper I was holding. Suddenly her eyes lit up, and she pointed at one of the ideas: "This one sounds fun!"

I looked at the option that Eri picked. It wrote: "School Play."

Everyone was surprised by Eri's choice: "A school play? That sounds like a fun idea!" Ochako said excitedly.

We all nodded; Eri asked me what a school play and I told her that a school play was like a theatrical performance that tells a story. My friends were also satisfied with this choice, but the most enthusiastic person was Yaoyorozu, as her eyes sparkled like stars.

Yaoyorozu proposed that she would be in charge of the planning, and if we followed her instructions, we would make the best play ever. Since we had never watched a play before, we shrugged and agreed.

Yaoyorzu smiled; she told us she would start planning immediately before sprinting up the stairs and into her room. Weirdly enough, however, she also called a couple of people to follow her.

I wonder what they were doing up there?

[3rd POV]

Six people were currently sitting at a round table, and they all dawned a solemn expression.

"The secret meeting of KSST (Kaede and Shoto Shipping Team) starts now," Mina announced as she observed her fellow comrades: Rikido, Ochako, Momo, Toru and Denki.

"Ochako report," Momo said as Ochako stood up.

"From the analysis, the day of the confession will soon be upon us. Shoto seems to be at his breaking point and the two just need one last push," Ochako said before sitting back down.

"My friends, this is the perfect opportunity...." Momo announced with a serious expression as she also stood up. The rest of the team nodded, agreeing with her statement.

"If we play our cards right, this school festival will finally be the day where we will achieve our goal!" Momo explained.

"I will personally organise the play, which means the rest of you will have to listen to my command. Are there any objections?" Seeing that no one complained, Momo smiled.

The team continued to talk for an hour before the meeting finally adjourned and Momo finally finished the draft of the play.

"Thank you, everyone, for participating in this meeting. However, if things go successfully, this will be our last meeting and the group will also be disbanded afterwards. It was fun working with all of you." Mina said to her friends as she raised her fist in the air.

Mina: "For the ship!"

"For the ship! x 5
