Connor grew angrier when the pain almost took his breath away. He clenched his teeth and drew his muzzles up. He threw a kick at him. However, Zane caught his ankle and twisted it.
"Yaff…" Connor whimpered and tried to pull his leg back.
Zane pulled him towards him and elbowed him in the back, making him wail. Before Connor could recover from the pain, Zane elbowed him in the head and punched him in the jaw.
Connor's head jerked a little and he fell to the ground on his right side.
"Grr…" Zane let out a thunderous growl as he transformed into a wolf. He jumped on top of Connor, who rolled twice on the ground before springing to his feet.
Both stood face to face, glaring at each other.
Zane stood in a retaliation stance, his knuckles popping as he tightened his fists. Connor's nostrils were on fire as he snorted and took a leap. Zane caught his arms and pushed him back.
